Hier findet man keine Buchstabensuppe an Zusatzstoffen, sondern frisch zubereitete Speisen.

Das Kulinariat is an absolute insider tip in Munich where I love to stop by time and time again. This charming restaurant near the Theresienwiese combines coziness, perfect service, and extremely delicious dishes in a chic concrete and hipster style.
Das Kulinariat gets everything right! Led by Stefanie and Johannes, you'll often find the two founders there almost daily, while Pascal rounds off the experience with his very attentive service. Not to forget the lovely colleagues from the open kitchen, who diligently create the taste experience not far from the seating area.
Das Kulinariat doesn't need a menu with 14 pages but focuses on things that are honestly cooked and prepared. Here, you won't find alphabet soup of additives but freshly prepared dishes. Especially for vegetarians, there are always really delicious options.
Das Kulinariat also incorporates seasonal influences, but don't worry, there are of course a few classics like the Truffle Caramelle (pasta dish), the pickled vegetable salad, or the cinnamon rolls. There's obviously something for meat lovers too.
You feel totally comfortable indoors, and even when sitting close together, it feels more like a big family gathering, which of course also depends on the clientele who celebrate the concept. If the weather allows, there's the wonderful courtyard that invites you to linger, so depending on the weather, you might encounter a few moms and dads having breakfast, a few girls having lunch, or the typical couple who enjoys good food and...
Read moreI was here on Saturday morning for breakfast with my husband and daughter. The only thing that I can say for sure about this place is overestimated. We reserved a table in advance and were expecting great breakfast (seeing so many wonderful reviews). We got our table very soon and the people were all very nice, but that's where all the positives ended. The choice of food consisted of 2 options only, the patio was small and overcrowded, surrounded by a brick wall (so I did not feel myself relaxed, but very cramped and uncomfortable, like in a stone well). It took them more than half an hour to bring food (and we were with a hungry child). The quality of the ingredients was good, but the taste of the dishes was very average, in my opinion, not at all worth the price. I don't think I will come here again at the nearest future, though the staff seemed great, but they have a loooooot of...
Read moreWhat a gem!!! It’s my 3rd time to enjoy their fabulous lunch (was there last week), and I can’t wait to go back again later this week. Food was excellent, service was great (they speak English!!!), and the price - I cannot believe the value. My stomach only allows me to have their 3 course lunch menu, but boy do I wish to starve myself for a few days so I could do their 4 course! The quality of their food (and presentation may I add) is superb, especially compared to the price they charge (I know, I’m repeating myself but I am blown away). I dare say it’s the best fine dining experience in Munich, minus the pretentiousness and price tag. Bravo!!! Hats off to the chief, and thank you so much...
