Went there for the New Year's Eve menu which was 59€/person. The experience was in my opinion underwhelming at best. At the door, we were greeted by a waiter who was unable to wear his mask properly (i.e., his nose was not covered at all). Furthermore, they were clearly understaffed. The intervals between courses were fairly long – the food was nice though.

In the confirmation email they also stated that one could get multiple servings of the main course, so that nobody would have to leave the restaurant hungry. When I asked for a second serving, the waitress was reluctant at first and told me she had to ask the kitchen staff whether there were any leftovers. Then, she brought me a significantly smaller second serving. I was quite disappointed with that and didn't ask for another one.

Drinks were not included in the price. We ordered a couple of Aperol Spritz and around half of them didn't come with ice. When I ordered another drink, the waitress just forgot about my order (and I couldn't be bothered reminding her of it) and never brought it. Finally, we were charged 1€ for each small glass of tap water which upset me as well.

My final verdict: food and atmosphere are nice; the prices for the NYE menu were quite steep for my taste (80-90€ or so including drinks and the need to buy another falafel sandwich on the way home to get rid of the hunger); the staff was clearly overwhelmed. Would probably go there for a regular lunch/dinner but definitely not for a...

Was my first time to visit Bodhi. I came for dinner with a large group of friends. The restaurant is cosy looking with its timber decor and bar and paraphernalia hanging around for sale. There was no English menu so I had to ask for a recommendation from the waiters who were friendly and helpful. They recommended what was the most expensive dish and when all the meals came I felt a little disappointed that I paid 24€ for Tempeh Rouladen dish that could have easily been much more hearty with more inclusions and value for money. The schnitzel at 19€ (still pricey) looked like better value. The food was presented well but given it is vegan and therefore plant-based, I felt a little exploited by the pricing. My friends had suggested we go there, but given I ordered the recommendation by staff as the meal they would eat, I doubt I would spend so much money a second time to still feel hungry. There is definitely room for improvement on some of the dishes serving size including thoughtful additions to make them look more appetising and healthy, given this is a vegan restaurant. I took pictures of other's meals so you can see for yourself my constructive criticism is valid and I hope useful to this establishment. There is a big chance I will return to Bohdis in München, so I hope the next time to be more satisfied with...

UPDATE: No one in the right mind will make such a strong remark with one "unintentional" look. I was being stared at like this multiple times for my whole meal. I am sure you have CCTV footage - go ahead and check it before you make this type of remarks to your customer. I have already given your staff the courtesy by not taking a photo of her front face, and still gave tips despite being made to feel so uncomfortable. Just face it - you are in denial. 2 stars for the nice (albeit slightly expensive) food and staff who accommodated me despite not having a reservation. Female bartender who saw me walk in was very rude. Showed me a dirty look and basically sneered at me while yakking away in German to another customer. An obvious expression of racism since I was the only Asian person in the restaurant at that time. Such a disappointment to be treated so rudely despite me making a trip specially to the neighbourhood to try the highly rated vegan food.
