Wow! this is what I called a fantastic experience. Coming from Miami, Florida where we have a melting pot of cultural foods, this restaurant by far exceeded our expectations. We came here after doing so much research and great reviews online that we couldn't leave without trying it. We felt welcomed and very relaxed. The owners are super beautiful and humble people that make you feel like family. We followed their recommendation based on our preference and they were right on point. I would love for everyone to try this restaurant and experience what service should be all about. We were super happy to support this amazing family business. How can I leave Munich without trying Farmers & Lou, impossible. Wishing the owners great success for years to come. Kevin and Yanira from Miami, USA

I would give six stars if I could. This is a charming little bistro with friendly staff and cosy seating. Café by day, restaurant by night, with hand written specials menus and intimate tables. Our food came quickly and was perfect. The menu is healthy soul food. I had a tagliatelle with chicken and Mediterranean ratatouille vegetables - the flavours were so delicate that you could taste the high quality olive oil. Another good special was the Irish stew. Dessert was locally made cakes - my baked cheesecake was the best I've tasted in a long time. I'm going to be going back here regularly when I'm in Munich. 👌

This is a tiny tiny place with excellent service and great food! - they do have a small outdoor space; so just mark your expectations. If you are up for cocktails, they do have a slew of choices and probably can make anything. Service was fast even though the r place was packed when we arrived. Food was even quick to be served! Kudos to the chef. Singular I think! - the kitchen looked super tiny! I had their fish special and it was excellent! For such a small place they do seem to have lots of specials… great! Come and be amazed will be my recommendation.

We stumbled upon this place during our last leg of our Europe trip. Very friendly hosts who took the time to translate the menu, cosy atmosphere and food that just lifts you up.

We had the turkey schnitzel which was well coated and pan fried. The salad was fresh and crisp with the unusual fennel thrown in. The penne arrabiata was decent.

We ended our course with a warm chocolate souffle that was accompanied by a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, complemented by an arrangement of fresh fruits. It was just so nice to have, if only we had more room in our stomachs.

Love everything about this place. Will be back when we...

What a gem! Farmer is a cool guy with a great spot to eat. You need a reservation as the place is small. Make one. You will be happy!!

The food is delicious. Portions are plentiful. Whether you get pasta, meat or fish it’s all prepared well and is very tasty. The drinks are good as well. The minestrone soup is some of the best I have ever had (and it’s not my normal choice, but it was really delicious)

We just enjoyed the food and the calmness of the restaurant. It’s very chill. I would have eaten there every day had I found it closer to the beginning of my stay.

Go see the Farmer and Lou. You won’t be...
