As a first time in München and being excited to try some different ramen from other places and then compare them to the ones I've had until now, this was really disappointing. The entrees were amazing, the karrage was super crispy and crunch, it felt perfect... The shrimp gyoza was also stunning, so I ended up getting excited about the ramen.... However that excitement turned into disappointment and later into annoyance. It was overwhelmingly bland and tasteless... Felt like drinking heavily dialuted soup base with 40% oil in it. The noodles were slight undercooked and the flavor was just lacking all together. There was no spice in the tantan men and the yuzu shoyu was also just salty, there were no traces of citrus.

I know I'm raging about the ramen, but I'm honestly trying to like it but it's not going to happen.... Maybe it's because I'm used to be blown away by amaizing pricing and "revolutionary" ramen from Umami Ramen in Stuttgart. This is sadly a huge letdown. Can only recommend the entrees and...

So first of all, this place awards a matcha ice if you review. I decided to skip that ice, fearing it to be off the same supermarket quality as the rest.

Like, corn. Why put canned corn on third grade, Penny silken tofu? I realise there is no such thing, but if there were, this would be it.

Then, if you serve vegetables in ramen or curry, please cut them? The ones you buy staple are only coarsely cut, so please get a knife and learn how to use it.

I know I'm being unfair, but... in short, I didn't like the food too much. Munich's second (?) worst ramen place in my opinion.

Oh... the rice, much appreciated, but adding a bit of rice vinegar and letting it stand for 20 minutes makes it nice.

So basically: ditch the prepared ingredients and...

Sometimes you walk in with low expectations — and end up smiling at your plate. 😋 That’s exactly what happened here. I ordered the Japanese curry chicken katsu, thinking it might be too “localized” to please everyone’s taste.

But surprise, surprise… it was delicious! Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and that curry? Just the right balance of warmth and flavor. Finally found a chicken katsu curry in Munich that truly hits the spot. 🍛✨

The staff were super nice, humble, and could speak English too — small things that make the experience so much more comfortable.

Went for a casual dinner on a Saturday and was quite happy about it. We got a bit lucky when we arrived as we got a seat in less than a minute of waiting, but they offer online reservation so I'd strongly recommend doing that to ensure quick service as it is quite packed around 7pm. The ramen was quite delicious and definitely better than what I was expecting. I will come again to try the other options as I got a simple yuzu shouyu ramen. They also had a couple sides and rice dishes as options. The size and decoration of the place is also very good, definitely a nice place to sit down and enjoy the atmosphere.

A hip ramen spot right in the city center with a relaxed yet stylish vibe. The interior is minimalist but chic, with plenty of indoor seating and a few outdoor tables for sunny days. The menu offers a great variety of ramen alongside starters and a handful of other dishes. The ramen broths we tried were rich, flavorful, and satisfying. The noodles were the real highlight - soft with just the right amount of chew. Service was quick and prices are perfectly in line with Munich standards. Definitely a go-to for a comforting, high-quality bowl of ramen in the heart of the city!
