The pizza at this place was actually quite good, but the service was so bad that it completely ruined the dining experience. The restaurant has two entrances. When we accidentally entered through the wrong one, no one came to assist us for a long time. When we finally asked, a staff member told us to wait for another waiter. After waiting some more, they then told us to go to the main entrance. Why couldn’t they have told us to go there in the first place?

That unpleasant start might have been tolerable, but what followed was even worse. After we were finally seated, we waited a long time before we could place our order. After ordering, the food came after a reasonable wait — the pizza was actually quite tasty.

However, when we wanted to leave, we waited a long time for someone to bring the bill. When the waiter finally came, he was extremely arrogant and said a few words in Italian that I don’t believe were friendly. Then, when I paid in cash, he insisted on taking a €0.20 tip in a very forceful manner — which I had no intention of giving. Even more infuriating was that my friend ordered a pizza priced at €9.90, but when it came time to pay, the waiter insisted — without any justification — that he had chosen the €12.90 one. In the end, my friend was forced to pay more than he actually owed.

To be honest, I even felt a bit of racial discrimination in the way I was treated, because the waiter clearly behaved differently with other guests. The good mood I had before dinner completely disappeared by the end of the meal. ...

Very dissppointing visit of a extremely hyped „pseudo-italian“ restaurant.. the booking system is completely unacceptable- we arrived 10 minutes before our booking time and were told to wait outside in the cold and that we would be called on time ( we were unacceptable early) - we never were called and had to “hunt down the lady” to get the directions. So we started our dinner 25 minutes late- which did not hinder the restaurant to “throw us out on time” after exactly the two booked hours ( without taking care that some of our group were not finished) .. for someone enjoying real great Italian pizza regularly in Italy the pizza was disappointing - the dough was too burned on the side, too soggy in the center and the topping was minimal and placed without the usual Italian love - rather average German pizza - but it fit to our time restriction that just half of the pizza was eatable for me .. no time for a sweet finish due to the completely in acceptable chaotic booking system… the restaurant atmosphere is really great ( style, comfort) and the waiters are exceptional nice ( though the reservation chaos and the incompetent and completely overwhelmed reservation lady lead to a bad mood from customer side).. a great highlight are the...

Disappointing Experience – Overhyped and Undelivered

I had high hopes for this restaurant after hearing about its popularity online and from a friend who had visited one of its other locations. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete letdown.

Despite having a reservation and being “registered” while standing in line, we were left waiting in the cold for 30 minutes while people who had just arrived were seated before us. It wasn’t until we intervened that we were finally shown to our table.

Once seated, the service didn’t improve. Our waitress was inattentive, barely stopping by our table throughout the meal. We felt ignored, which only added to the frustration.

As for the food, the Don Diablo pizza which I had was a disappointment. It was watery and lacked the promised spice. Overall, it felt like a subpar dish that didn’t justify the hype or the price. The only saving grace for me was the nice ambience, which was however overshadowed by everything else.

I would not recommend this restaurant and certainly won’t be returning. There are far better options elsewhere that actually respect their customers’ time and deliver on quality. Save yourself the trouble and go...

Food: We visited on March 2nd and tried the new March-April special: Flamed A5 Wagyu Pizza. Before ordering, I asked the waiter if anyone had tried it and their feedback. She was kind but admitted only one person had ordered it so far, with no review left. The pizza was good—soft dough, fresh ingredients, and balanced flavors—but not worth the price. For €33 (without drinks or dessert), it’s barely different from their €17 Burrata Bomb pizza, just with two thin slices of Wagyu. At that price, you could opt for a steak dinner instead. I’d recommend other dishes; my friend’s chicken salad was excellent. Atmosphere: Very crowded. We walked in without reservations at 5 PM and were given 1.5 hours to dine. Only one women’s bathroom was available. The outdoor balloon seating requires a minimum spend of €120–€150, regardless of group size. Service: Food arrived quickly. The waiter was attentive, checking back to ask about the pizza. I appreciated her kindness but honestly shared that the dish didn’t justify its cost. First-time visitors might leave disappointed if they order this, but other menu items seem satisfying.

Nestled right in the heart of the stunning Marienplatz, this pizza restaurant offers a prime location that enhances its appeal. The courtyard outdoor seating provides a charming space to enjoy a meal while soaking in the vibrant atmosphere, while the chic interiors and lavish bar add a stylish luxury touch to the experience. Though the initial service was slow, with attendants taking time to greet and seat us, the warmth and friendliness of the waiting staff later made up for it. Their welcoming attitude turned the experience around, making it more enjoyable. As for the pizza, it was undeniably delicious—freshly prepared with a great balance of flavors. Whether you're stopping by for a casual bite or a more indulgent meal, this spot is worth a visit, especially for those looking to savor good food in an iconic setting.
