This restaurant is the to-go place among my colleagues at LMU (professors, postdocs, etc.), and it's for a reason: good food, location is top, and the atmosphere is fantastic. We go at least once a week on average and it's never let me down. I personally like that they have a rotating menu, so you know if you go you'd have different options pretry much every time.
Some of my colleagues don't like that the proportions are rather small (considering the price). While this is true, I am not at odds with that because then it means you can still work afterwards, but this wouldn't be a place I'd suggest if you're really hungry.
