IUNU Kochwerkstatt und Ladencafé — Restaurant in Munich

I was looking for a new place to have lunch as I work in the area. I ended up in this spot, stumbled upon the high reviews. At first, the atmosphere caught my attention, so colourful and cosy I felt a sense of peace and harmony. Then I was welcomed by Asha, who kindly asked me what I would like to eat. I am not a vegetarian, so I asked her for suggestions. I ended up having a generous plate full of rice, vegetables and sauces. The taste was rich, and the ingredients combined well as part of a big, majestic symphony. Supported by her bright smile, Asha explained that she prepares each plate with daily variations and uses fresh ingredients delivered just in the morning itself. The food is vegetarian and vegan but very filling, even for the omnivore tastes. Kindly suggest the banana cake and choco brownie as dessert. I had an amazing lunch here. Their daily lunch is full of little tasty dishes all combined in one plate, it was simply delicious and also super healthy! I love the concept of offering daily lunch because it makes me want to visit every single day. (Note: they open only from Monday to Friday and their lunch menu is served only after 12:00) All the staffs are really friendly, warm hearted and open. Leider nicht mehr was es mal war. Früher gekochte und gut gewürzte vielseitige Variation von Sachen auf dem Teller u gute Stimmung dort und freundlich. Die letzten Male bestand der Teller fast nur noch aus einem Berg trockenen Reis, dazu miniklecks Sosse mit 2-3 Scheiben Zuccini, ein paar zusammengefallenen Salatblätter (zu lang im Dressing) und Kohlenhydrate wie Kartoffeln oder Nudeln ungewürzt. Öfter auch Rotkohl ohne Dressing oder Bohnen aus Dose ungewürzt und 2-3 Minikleckse demselben Aufstrich. Wenn ich mehrere Tage nacheinander dort war sah ich oft Reste von anderen Tagen (soviel zu es wird frisch gekocht). Auch die Kuchen nicht mehr das was sie mal waren. Ständig Brownies und nicht frisch sondern aufgetaut, weil ich schon noch gefrorene Stücke für to go bekommen hatte. Außerdem scheint das Personal überfordert zu sein, es ist chaotisch und der Teller wird einem unfreundlich hingestellt und auch nicht mehr schön angerichtet, nur noch draufgeknallt.
