After seeing so many positive reviews, we had high expectations, but we left very disappointed. The food was not authentic Lebanese—it only pretends to be. The baba ghanouj was just an eggplant salad with no tahini, the fattoush had carrots (which you’d never find in a real Lebanese restaurant), and the beef shawarma was so bad we had to return the plate. The meat was soggy, tasted off, and felt like it was expired. To make matters worse, I specifically asked if the shawarma was served with Lebanese tarator sauce, and they said yes—only to bring it out with yogurt, which is how Turkish cuisine might serve it, but never Lebanese. The same happened with the tawouk—the spices were completely off, and it was also served with yogurt instead of garlic toum sauce, which is the proper Lebanese way. The cheese rolls were as thin as salty breadsticks, but on a positive note, the tabbouleh was actually good. On top of that, the prices here are higher than most authentic Lebanese restaurants in Munich, making the experience even more disappointing. The one redeeming factor was the nice decor, with small, captivating artworks on the walls. Unfortunately, that’s not enough to make up for the overpriced, inauthentic food.

As a french toast lover, it was a big disappointing for me. Visual is amazing, but I can not tell the same for the taste. It does not match with the criterions of a good quality for a french toast. There was no butter or cinnamon taste, inside of the brioche bread was raw and sloppy, outside was not crispy. Side sauces/ additions (sweet syrup, berry jam, nutella, powder sugar) do not match in terms of a flavor harmony and all of them together creates incredibly sweet taste which makes the french toast hard to eat with joy.

ME...

A restaurant of this size shouldn't have that amount of tables. (To be fair that happens in several restaurants in Munich) The tables are so close to each other that if I wanted to go to the bathroom I needed to ask the people sitting near me to stand up and let me out. I called and make a reservation for four people we were squeezed in the middle of two other tables. Very uncomfortable, tiny tables that can be used to drink a coffee and a muffin but not when you order lunch or brunch. I would never return there also because the person, there who only speaks English, is not very friendly. The food is alright, there are some interesting...
