OANH 65 — Restaurant in Munich

I was craving some good Vietnamese food, that's why my girlfriend and I went to Oanh 65 because of the good reviews. We have been to a bunch of Vietnamese restaurants in Europe before, so we had some expecations.

Interieur/Staff: The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite modern with the lighted bar in the centre. The staff was friendly and helped us getting a seat, since the restaurant was pretty full (I have to admit, there were no Asian people, although it was an Asian restaurant).

Food: The food itself was nothing special, we have had much better Vietnamese food in other places before. We ordered one small Pho Bo and one Bun Cha Thit Nuong. The soup of the Pho Bo was too lightly seasoned, that's why we had to order more Hoisin sauce and add it to it. The Bun Cha was okay. The additional bowl of sauce, which is served to it, was very weakly seasoned.

Pricing: The pricing compared to the quality and quantity was too high. We paid almost 50 Euros for one starter and two main courses and we were still hungry afterwards.

Fun fact: All in all, we were disappointed. We heard one woman next to us saying "how she hates Pak Choi because of its boring flavour", and also that "this place has Tofu like the other Thai restaurant".

Wir waren abends ohne Reservierung hier, nach den wir einen Platz zugewiesen bekamen, bekam wir die Karte, bei Getränke fiel die Entscheidung schnell, bei den Speisen brauchen wir beide dich ein wenig länger, die Karte ist sehr vielfältig und es klangen alles so unfassbar gut.

Letztlich entschieden wir uns für die Nr. 9 Sommerollen mit Garnelen 6,90€, 2 Gerichte im Claypot:

Hähnchen mit Sojasauce und Gemüse mit Reis*Nr. 38 15.50€ und Rind, Hähnchen, Garnelen und Jakobsmuscheln mit Gemüse in Austernsauce auf BratreisNr.37 18,50€

Unsere Sommerrollen jamen zügig. Diese war herrlich frisch, groß und unglaublich gut! Wir waren sofort einig, dass die Sommerollen des Oanh die besten waren die wir je gegessen haben

Das Hauptgericht meines Freundes kam zuerst, er war restlos begeistert von zarten Hähnchenfleisch und dem tollen Geschmack der sehr authentisch war (Im letzten Jahr war wir in Saigon, gerade die Claypot/Hotpot Gerichte waren immer die besten).

Mir wurde zunächst das Falsche gebracht, eine Pho Suppe die sehr frisch und köstlich aussah aber sofort von mir zurückgeschickt wurde, man entschuldige sich sofort, keine 5-10min später kam mein Hauptgericht.

Dieses war absolute delizös, zarte Rind - und Hühnerfleisch, die knackigen saftigen Riesengarnelen, total frische und köstliche Jakobsmuscheln, knackiges Gemüse in einer absolut delizösen Austernsauce, nur der Bratreis war mir etwas zu trocken, deswegen bestell mir noch etwas normalen Jasminreis dazu.

Mein Gericht war absolut authentisch, geschmacklich auf sehr hohem kulanarischem Niveau und einfach perfekt! lWir dem Oanh sicherlich nochmals einen oder mehrere Besuche abstatten.

Die Location ist sehr einladend und schön gestaltet wurden - Ein Restaurant zum Wohlfühlen!

Sehr gutes Preis - Leistung Verhältnis! Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender, schneller Service!

Die authentische vietnamesischen Küche sowie die perfekte Zubereitung und das Anrichten der Speisen runden das Gesamtkonzept dieses grandiosen Vietnamischen Restaurant ab!

If you want a break from Bavarian cuisine, and you have a warm corner in your heart to Vietnamese cuisine, you should come here. Nice and calm atmosphere, good for dates as well. Food was very tasty, the Pho Bo arrived very hot almost boiling, as it should be, the portion was very generous with a lot of rice noodles and beef chunks. The soft shell crab dish, which is speciality of the place apitaizer was excellent!! Wanted to order another one after finished it. The spring rolls were also very fresh and tasty. All dishes are served with a beautiful and fresh bouquet of greens, at least 5 different greens. Loved it! Service is very friendly, the owners are from Vietnam. Highly...
