Bedauerlicherweise mussten wir am vergangenen Samstag, dem 16.09.2023, äußerst unangenehme Erfahrungen in der Muniqo Rooftop Bar machen. Wir, drei Herren in unseren Zwanzigern, hatten keine Reservierung und mussten eine gewisse Zeit in der Lobby warten, bedingt durch das unzureichende bzw. nicht qualifizierte Personal. Warum bezeichnen wir es als unzureichend bzw. nicht qualifiziert? Die Erklärung ist recht einfach: Als wir in die Bar geführt wurden, befand sich die Hälfte des Platzes noch leer. Nun, das Warten an sich störte uns nicht, da wir ohne Reservierung erschienen waren und dies erwarteten.

Nun zum eigentlichen Vorfall: Während unseres Aufenthalts in der Lobby wurden eine Gruppe älterer Herren und Damen, die ebenfalls keine Reservierung hatten, vor uns nach oben geleitet. Infolgedessen begab ich mich zur Rezeption, wo ich freundlich von einem jungen Herrn empfangen wurde, und erklärte ihm, dass solches Verhalten völlig unakzeptabel und respektlos sei. Er zeigte vollstes Verständnis und setzte sich umgehend mit seinen Kollegen in Verbindung, darunter auch dem Mitarbeiter, der die ältere Gruppe vor uns nach oben begleitet hatte. Er empfand die Situation als äußerst unangenehm und stimmte mir uneingeschränkt zu.

Etwa fünf Minuten nach diesem Vorfall wurde ich vom stellvertretenden Manager kontaktiert, da der eigentliche Manager nicht anwesend war. Er hatte unten im Gespräch mit dem Personal von der Situation gehört und erkundigte sich nach dem Sachverhalt. Ich erklärte ihm ausführlich, was geschehen war, und erhielt daraufhin äußerst respektlose Antworten. Zunächst versuchte er, die Verzögerung zu rechtfertigen, obwohl ich keine Einwände gegen die Wartezeit hatte, sondern vielmehr gegen die Tatsache, dass andere Gäste ohne Reservierung bevorzugt wurden und vor uns hereingelassen wurden. Dann äußerte er sich wie folgt, ich zitiere: 'Es ist nicht in Ordnung, dass andere Gäste, die drei Scheine mehr in der Tasche haben, bevorzugt behandelt werden, das verstehe ich.' Diese Aussage schockierte mich zutiefst. Wir sind junge Herren in unseren Zwanzigern. Mein Erscheinungsbild war äußerst elegant, gekleidet in einem schwarzen Zara-Zweiteiler, mit einem Cartier Love Armband, LV Sneakers und meiner Prada-Brille. Warum erwähne ich dies? Ich möchte verdeutlichen, dass alle Gäste gleich behandelt werden sollten und das Einkommen einer Person weder anhand ihrer Kleidung noch ihres Alters beurteilt werden kann. Dies erzürnte mich zutiefst. Er führte uns zu unseren Plätzen und versuchte die Lage zu entspannen, da er meine Verärgerung erkannte, indem er uns Cocktails als Geste des guten Willens servierte. Nun, ich hoffe aufrichtig, dass grundlegende Veränderungen in dieser Bar vorgenommen werden, da sich ähnliche Vorfälle in den letzten Wochen gehäuft haben. Ich habe die Bar über einen längeren Zeitraum regelmäßig besucht. Es ist äußerst bedauerlich, da sie zu meinen bevorzugten...
