Cleverly designed business model as this place is neither a full-fledged restaurant nor a quick ‘grab and go’ fast food kiosk. This is 2 men show one to prepare food and another to deliver to the table. Limited seating arrangement and limited menu - can’t be tailor-made to your taste or choice - not only the items but also the spice levels as most of the items are pre-prepared and ready to be served after some assembly by the person managing the preparation. Simple and easy to assemble and fast to deliver to table - the trick works every time. Gives a feeling that serving is too fast after ordering. We happened to dive in after a pretty long walk of old town and ordered a bowl of chickpea which came with stuffed Nan, jeera potato, raita and some greens. We also ordered another bowl with chicken tikka with lemon rice which came with some greens. To finish up one masala tea (pre-prepared and kept in a large heated drum kind of container). Chickpea was very spicy, stuffed nan and lemon rice lacked flavour and taste, chicken tikka with kerala curry sauce was just shy of meeting the expectation. Masala tea lacked the freshness, though very hot, due to its long sitting in the container. On the whole, it wasn’t an experience that will make us to recommend this place. If you are on the go and just easy about ok to fill your tummy at an inexpensive manner and not worried about fine taste, then this is the place...

I was hoping for a wider variety of classic street food – perhaps more puri variations, Indian-style sandwiches, or something sweet like jalebi. Still, we tried both kinds of Kathi Rolls, and they were absolutely delicious – beautifully presented with the perfect level of spice. The paneer roll, however, had a bit too much sauce, which made it soggy rather quickly. As they’re made here, the rolls aren’t ideal for take-away – definitely better to eat on-site.
The chai was pre-sweetened, which is authentic, but it would be nice to have the option of ordering it unsweetened.
A small downside: the toilet wasn’t very clean, especially the floor – and this was already early in the afternoon. More regular checks would...
Read moreSo during my recent visit to Munich on recommendation of a dear friend I had been to madam chutney without prior reservation I was glad to find a place for a family of five. I ordered three thing that includes samosa chat, butter chicken thali, chicken-egg khathi roll and mango lassi . So portions wise I found it little less they can work on it , flavour wise on point everything was worth trying and price wise I can say good. They have a limited seating arrangement so it’s advisable to call them before you visit. Note especially for parents coming with infants unfortunately they don’t have highchair so be ready to hold you munchkins. Before I forget no waiting time, food was on the table within 5-7 minutes of my order. I find this place Totally recommendable for some finger licking Indian food...
