Salve - Bar, Cucina & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Munich

We visited here Thursday June 24th 2021. It's in Schwabing West and is close to Biervana. It's right by Hohenzollernplatz U-Bahn so the U2 is your best public transport option, however I guess that the tram and buses that run close to Biervana are another option.

There are a couple of tables outside, we sat actually undercover in the space between this place and a studio next door where we could see them doing martial arts.

It's a small place, typical Italian in appearance and in terms of the menu. We had pizza and salad and both were fab', really good pizza🍕, the salad was great as well. Service was super quick and the reason for my adding this is that they had 3 Tegernseer beers, I had the Export Dunkel and the Pilsner they also had a Helles, but also Hopf for a Weissbier and Gosser for a Radler all bottles. So far we ordered penne arrabiata, a few pizzas and some tiramisu and they were all great.

The penne are pretty much the best we have ordered in München so far and we have ordered arrabiata from a lot of places. Freshly made, garlic tastes great, sauce is also delicious and home made. They also deliver some parmesan with the pasta, extra points for that.

The pizza is great: thin crust, high quality ingredients, they deliver fast so it's usually hot, etc.

Overall we're very happy with the food and what's most important is that they're constant. We ordered from other places which had great food but from time to time they really dropped the ball and the food was not that good. So far this has not happened with Salve and I really hope they keep up the good work, because we simply love them.

A petite place huge in coziness and pure Italian flavor at its best. Antonello’s humble and relaxed professional attention in German, Italian , Spanish and English creates a unique maridaje that makes you being Salve’s sick already in few minutes.
