Suuapinga was an unexpected surprise for me on my recent trip to Munich. I love specialty coffee and had never heard of them before. The name initially threw me off as it did not sound like a coffee shop, but as I was staying next to Wiener Platz I walked by and checked it out. They had a Kenyan single origin in addition to their blend and it was awesome! I went back multiple times and it was excellent as both a cappucino and flat white. The Wiener Platz location is tiny, with only a standing counter inside, but there is outdoor seating which is great on a nice weather day. The cardamon bun was also very delicious and not overly sweet. It was a little pricy at 4.50 but I enjoyed it. The coffee beans were in contrast very reasonably priced and I took home a bag of the Kenyan beans for maybe 14 Euro. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Munich. Highly recommended! On my last visit I even got a fun bit of latte art rather than the...

I came across Suuapinga by chance while walking around Wiener Platz, and it turned out to be a great discovery. The café is small and simple, but it gives you a warm feeling with a strong focus on quality. I tried their espresso—it was bold, clean, and you can really tell they care about the beans and preparation. The barista was super friendly and happy to explain more about the coffee when I asked. It’s more of a grab-and-go spot or a place to enjoy your coffee quickly rather than somewhere to sit for long. Still, it was a very nice experience and definitely worth a visit for specialty...

This coffee spot opened in place of the Margot’s bakery: a successful replacement for a successful French bakery. Nothing is lost, nothing is created, everything transforms. Get the best coffee of Max-Weber-platz surrounding at the edge of a fountain in a warm atmosphere of the famous bayrisch May tree and thanks to the lovely quality market here and the positive vibes of the English and Italian pop-up stores around. Try the excellent, freshly baked cardamom bun with your coffee but only if it’s...

Really liked this place. Good coffee, good pastries, good vibes. Located in a beautiful area, so it's nice to stay outside, observe the surroundings, and do some people-watching. The coffee itself is very solid. There is quite a variety, including specialty lots. Alternative brewing methods are obviously present too. As a bonus, you can have a nice chit-chat with upbeat baristas. Well done, lads!
