Suuapinga was an unexpected surprise for me on my recent trip to Munich. I love specialty coffee and had never heard of them before. The name initially threw me off as it did not sound like a coffee shop, but as I was staying next to Wiener Platz I walked by and checked it out. They had a Kenyan single origin in addition to their blend and it was awesome! I went back multiple times and it was excellent as both a cappucino and flat white. The Wiener Platz location is tiny, with only a standing counter inside, but there is outdoor seating which is great on a nice weather day. The cardamon bun was also very delicious and not overly sweet. It was a little pricy at 4.50 but I enjoyed it. The coffee beans were in contrast very reasonably priced and I took home a bag of the Kenyan beans for maybe 14 Euro. I will definitely visit again on my next trip to Munich. Highly recommended! The café is small and simple, but it gives you a warm feeling with a strong focus on quality.
