Woerner's — Restaurant in Munich

Seems like a nice place, however horrible service. We really had a fight just because our friends ordered ice cream in waffles and they wanted to sit with us in. The staff insisted in having asked them before if they want it to go or not, however we really did not hear that. This turned out to be a problem, since they charged the to go price, but then they wanted to sit with us. In the end we ended up all being allowed to sit outside, first on the wet seats, however, with further fighting we managed to sit under cover. I find it highly unfriendly, they could have just charged us the extra money for letting them sit inside. And by the way, I'm questioning, why they have two servers and noone to tell us about these important details and guide us to our table. It felt like a self service. Really bad service. I cannot rate the food, since I did not get to try it. However, I will never come back here, so...

Visited the place as a group of 6 for some ice cream and coffee. Apparently there are different prices to stay or to go which is common. They didn't ask us (2 people that ordered ice cream) whether we wanted to stay or go and never mentioned anything about ice cream allowed inside to us. As we sat down at a table a waitress came in and told us that ice cream was not allowed inside as it was a café. After we explained that they never informed us, she insisted that they did by raising her tone. If we were informed about that rule in the first place we would have planned around since we were in a group so it wouldn't have been that much of an issue for us but they insisted on splitting our group up and complained that they didn't charge us the to stay prices when they said that Ice cream was not allowed in in the first place(?). Bad service and rude hostess whom did his best to get rid of us from the minute we arrived he tried to ignore us and seat the couple queuing behind us and when the waiter seated us the table was too tight he offered us to set in another table as we walk to the other table he started shouting at us that we can’t change the table if we ordered already we told him we didn’t order yet then he said you can’t set without asking I said the waiter is the one who sent us to this table and he kept saying no you can’t so I got really upset and shouted back that this is it we leaving and said enjoy your pathetic restaurant as if we came to eat for free what a disgusting treatment in the heart of Munich.
