If you eat here, you will regret you didn't trust my review! :D This is not the "basic but super tasty and authentic Thai around the corner". I got a basic Chicken Pad Thai, nothing fancy. I ended up very disappointed - tons of noodles in some brown sauce probably with glutamate, nothing to do with tamarind sauce (even the cook told me they don't put tamarind sauce in Pad Thai! :O Excuse me?! It's like red wine without, ehm, red wine!). Barely some vegetables, not even mentioning some fresh herbs. Later the cook said that next time I can order extra vegetables in Pad Thai. I'm sorry, but vegetables in Pad Thai are not "an extra" or a luxury! I'm a person who really can eat food just to fill the stomach, if it's at least ok or cheap - and the portions ARE big here - but the food was not even ok enough for me to finish it. I absolutely cannot relate to the hype about this place. Just because the place is basic, it doesn't mean the food must automatically be tasty and authentic. You would want it that way and it often is, but here it isn't. Sorry but never again.

Food was delicious, cooked to order which is a huge WIN! Staff made a real effort to communicate with me as I only speak English. Was grateful they had an English menu and it was very reasonably priced. Great value for money.

Sehr leckeres Essen in diesem kleinen „Imbiss“ - die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, das Essen war ausgesprochen gut, Getränke nimmt man sich, es war am Mittag voll, viele Leute haben auch noch was geholt, das Essen kam trotzdem schnell, haben auch Leute gesehen die vorab bestellt hatten und als sie kamen stand das Essen auf dem Tisch (tolle Idee für Mittag) und zahlen kann man bar oder mit Paypal. Unterm Strich war es ein voller Erfolg und wir werden auch öfter zur Gast sein - ganz klare Empfehlung 😋👍🏻

Simply perfect! A really warm and welcoming place. There service here was fab from the moment we walked in the door. Clear and friendly. Myself and my partner love and adore Thai food and are regular eaters of the stuff, so our standards are high. We came here upon recommendation and were not let down at all! The food was delicious and we were left feeling so satisfied! Thanks so much...

Das Aroy war jahrelang eines meiner Lieblings-Thais in Nürnberg. Leider lässt aber mittlerweile das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis zu wünschen übrig. Sind zunächst "nur" die Preise stark hochgesetzt worden, ist der Service mittlerweile auf unterdurchschnittlich gesunken. Zuletzt haben wir zu zweit in einem komplett leeren Lokal 40 Minuten auf unser Essen gewartet, weil vorher alle Telefonbestellungen erledigt wurden. Das wars dann leider - um die Ecke ist nämlich auch ein hervorragender Vietnamese, der nicht nur sehr gut kocht sondern auch weiß, was Kundenservice ist!

PS: Um 11:20 gekommen, um 12:05 gegangen. Auf Nachfrage kurz vor 12 wurde mir auf sehr pampige Art beschieden, dass man die Telefonbestellungen eben erledigen müsste. Und ob ich jetzt mein Essen noch wolle oder nicht. Fragwürdig ist - und ich bleibe dabei - der Umgang mit Vor-Ort-Kunden. Denn statt angepampt zu werden, hätte ich eine Entschuldigung erwartet. Aber das scheint ja die Handschrift Ihres Hauses zu sein - andere Kritiken weiter unten sowie Ihre Reaktion auf meine Bewertung...
