L'Osteria Nürnberg Tullnaupark — Restaurant in Nuremberg

We made reservation day before and explicitly asked do they accept VISA ELECTRON bank card, with positive confirmation. When we arrived we got random low level table like we didn't do reservation at all. Food was good, it could get some more love. Stuff was on the acceptable level only as well. When we wanted to pay with VISA ELECTRON, bank card reading device rejected it on our suprise. After few failed attempts, Shift Chief came to claim that they do accept all cards besides AMEX and that our card is not valid or dont have money, which is not true, after few tries to explain to not claim if not informed 100%, still no polite adittude from him. I said, you are wrong and you are making us dumb, since you need to have device that accept that card and not act like you accept them all, only if you have customers all the time that use some other one that device is accepting. Very uncomfortable dialog with ego only attitude from unfortunately very young, uninformed, unprofessional and not wise Shift Chief that in first point has to know 100% tehnical background of bank card reading device that he owns since at the end in this business, money and payment is most important thing. After he said sorry just to say it not as he understood he is wrong, he just said he will wait until someone goes to ATM, instead of offering "something on the house" or discount on the receipt. Another rude approach after restoran's mistake. After we got the cash on ATM losing 4% of the amount which we wanted to avoid with question about accepting VISA ELECTRON, still dumb look on his face after we wanted to say that we were right and claiming he needs to say in whole restorant that his devices DONT accept VISA ELECTRON. Totally unprofessional attitude. They were putting "Reserved" sign on the table while we were still sitting, confirming that we did get some random table, while people who came before us got better ones and dont believe in their real reservations as all tables are "reserved". Yeah right. If you doing gipsy things, at least dont do it in front of me. Total disaster of streetmarket restoran. Will never come here again and visitors avoid this restorant if you care...

2 stars, only because the food is good quality. We were there tonight, with friends, we normally go to L'Osteria on Pirckheimerstr. and will keep going there, to this one, 'Am Tullnaupark', never again.

The music was way too loud to hold normal conversation. I've seen others also complain about this, from 3 months ago and 1 year ago on Trip Advisor, with others in between. Management have responded to others about it yet it obviously hasn't changed, and won't do. It has absolutely nothing to do with the atmosphere of the other guests, the conversations of the other guests, it is only the music that they choose to play so loudly.

The service was average, friendly, but definitely not attentive. The wait for our food was too long also, 40 minutes from ordering. And when you can't enjoy talking to one another because of trying to shout over the music the whole time, it makes for a very uncomfortable wait, and uncomfortable evening.

I don't understand how restaurants can fail on such basics as good attentive service, and reasonable delivery times on food.

Plus, the loudness. It wouldn't surprise me if the music was intentional, to encourage a quick turnover.

If you want great pizza, then L'Osteria it is, just definitely...

It was a very bad experience. I arrived at the entrance. waited for some minutes but no one showed me a table which is ok at some restaurants. I went to the second floor and no one came. I then went downstairs to order. I asked a waitress and she said just go to the bar and order your pizza. I did so and they asked for 'trinkgeld' before the service itself as I paid in advance. Got my receipt and they said I have to wait 20 minutes and get the order myself or ask any waiter again. I asked a waiter but he said since you ordered at the bar you have to ask the bar guy to bring it for you. After a few minutes I went again to the bar and he got me my order in a box. I opened it and was supposed to eat at the restaurant. Then the same waitress came again and shouted at me that I have to go out. I told her I am not ordering it to go. Her colleague came and asked her to serve it on a plate. There was no reason for her to shout at all and she was rude with me the whole time just because I didn't speak good German. BTW I had my daughter with me 2 years old and I never mentioned I want to go order. I also paid tips for a service which...
