Cafe Spital - Regensburg — Restaurant in Regensburg

Visited this place a few days ago and loved how cozy and atmospheric it was! Just next to the river Danube across the Old Stone Bridge you’ll find this little cafe/restaurant and instantly be drawn in by all the smells and the pretty lights. The outside are is ideal for both cold and warm weather, equipped with heaters and blankets, aswell as parasols. The inside reminds of an old Italian café and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Hope to come here soon again!

Am Freitag Abend zur lauen Sommernacht um ca 21.15 gemütlich Richtung Stadtamhof geschlendert, in der Hoffnung auf ein begehrtes Plätzchen. Zum Glück wurde gerade ein Tisch frei und somit zack hin und Platz genommen (2) Die Bedienung war eh gerade am Nebentisch und somit wurde unsere Bestellung ( wir tranken nur etwas) zügig aufgenommen. Getränke kamen flott, Sitzplatz perfekt zum beobachten/ wahrnehmen des Trubels aber dennoch hat man das Gefühl von Zweisamkeit und keine große Geräuschkulisse…. ( klar, Regensburg in einer lauen Sommernacht ist nun mal nicht still) Wurden noch öfter gefragt ob alles passt, gegen 22.45 haben wir es dann wieder gepackt…. Großes Lob geht auch an die Sauberkeit der Toiletten… da ist man nach einem gut besuchten Tag ja auf so einiges gefasst…( vor allem die Frauen Örtchen gleichen da manchmal einem Schlachtfeld) ganz im Gegenteil nun hier.
