Hotel Kaiserhof am Dom — Hotel in Regensburg

The stay at this place has been one of my best hotel experiences in a long time (and I travel a lot). Location is perfect, right in the centre of the old town, facing the cathedral. Check-in was easy and from the receptionists, always different young and pretty ladies one got a friendly smile, whenever one passed by.||My single room on the fourth floor was spacious enough for one person. There was all the storage space I needed as well as a desk. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was okay with the bathroom and the shower functioned fine. Since my room faced a courtyard it was quiet at night.||The highlight was probably the gothic breakfast room with a vaulted ceiling, located on the first floor. Breakfast is served as of 7am and there is a beautiful buffet with plenty of fruit, cheese, cold cuts, salmon, eggs. The Ccffee, served in a pot with milk on the side, was of good quality.||This hotel is a place I will recommend to anybody, who wants to spend a few days visiting the attractive old town...

We stayed here in early June 2018. The location could not be any more central! The price was very reasonable as well. The best part of our stay was the staff-they were very friendly and helpful. For example, we had trouble coordinating a ride to the airport and the lady at the desk (I did not get her name) called the bus company and took care of this for us! The room was on the small side but I have seen smaller; the bathroom was a bit cramped. The room was spotless. The breakfast was very large with alot of different choices. When I return to Regensburg I will stay here and I recommend Kaiserhof am Dom...

Petit hôtel en plein centre-ville, pour un prix raisonnable mais sans extra confort. La salle de bain est splendide, la douche large et la literie confortable. Le seul moins, c'est les cloisons. Genre on entend bien la voisine qui se rase les jambes pendant que le voisin tourne les pages de son journal. Vraiment, tu sais tout ce qui se passe dans la chamb' d'en face comme dans celle de droite. Puis à 7h, t'as droit aux cloches du Dom. Font pas semblant, crois-moi! Perso j'ai trouvé l'hôtel sympa, vraiment propre, un peu... spartiate? Mais pour quelques jours c'est vraiment un super bon plan en plein centre-ville à prix correct. Ah oui, et le WiFi fonctionne (comme souvent en Allemagne) par connexion depuis le browser Internet. Une conn... monumentale! Ça fonctionne quand ça veut, ça se coupe quand ça veut, enfin c'est l'âge de pierre de l'Internet. Mais c'est gratuit, heureusement, pour ce que ça marche (le plus souvent pas).
