Drubba Uhren & Geschenke — Local services in Regensburg

I'm writing this message to share my sad experience with Drubba. Last Nov. 2024, we purchased a very expensive Cuckoo Clock in Regensburg, Germany and, because of the weight, we requested it to be shipped to our home in the US at our expense. After a month, the package has arrived and, following the instruction carefully, we placed it on our wall. However, after a few days, we noticed that something was wrong with the music and alarm of the clock. Though the lever was ON, there was no sound coming out and the weights of the music were not going down, only the clock's weight. We contacted the Customer Service and was advised to send it to their approved repair shop, which is in Oregon. We mailed the clock to Mike and he told us that the mechanism dried up. (Maybe because it was an old stock). He put oil on it and, after a week, he sent it back to us, assuming the clock would be working well. But still the alarm and music were not working properly. I believe, we received a defective product. So, in short, we returned the clock to Germany via Fedex. Then, after a few months, we received the replacement clock last March. So far, we are happy about our Cuckoo Clock and it is working very nice. Now, my complain is the stress of packing and repacking the clock, then going back and forth to the Post Office / Fedex. Also, I was promised that I'll get reimbursed for the expenses I paid, like the postage and the second State Tax. However, as of this writing, I haven't received the "full" reimbursement of my expenses. I followed it up several times to the person-in-charge, but it didn't materialized. Sooo disappointing! Now, for those planning to purchase a Cuckoo Clock at Drubba, I warn you to think "twice or more" before buying it. Do you also want to go through this stressful experience? Good luck! But for me, this whole shopping experience has really left a bad taste in my mouth. Adieu, Drubba!

1. Had I not posted my review, my reimbursement would not be completed. I received the $5.00 only last June 9th!
2. In regards the shipment, I checked the records and I was right, the clock arrived a month after purchasing it last Nov. Then, I sent back the clock in January 2024 and didn’t receive the replacement...

A lovely store located close to the bridge and the old sausage house restaurant. I was set on buying Cœur de Lion jewelry and I did! Plus a few other items! Both Vanessa and Claudia were delightful and very helpful! Their selection of jewelry, including Cœur de Lion, is vast and includes a lot of modern unique pieces. If you are looking for a cuckoo clock, they have an extensive selection. If you live outside of the Schengen area and spend over (I think 50€), you can apply at the airport to get the VAT returned. Great shopping experience.
