Klässig's Fish & Chips — Restaurant in Schönefeld

Staff were unpleasant, older staff member/possibly manager was rude. I waited patiently to be served while he chatted to colleague, then I said hello and he didn't not turn around to acknowledge me until he finished chatting. I was then asked by the server if I would like to pay with card or cash. I had some cash but needed the cost of meal to check I had enough, older man then interrupted service with colleague to tell me they cannot tell me the price until they enter into system in a very condescending tone. He then proceeded to speak about me in Spanish which I can also speak!!! The food was very oily and left too long in fryer. 17euro for some oily fish nuggets and fries that I could not finish. Rude staff member had no bearing of my review of the food...the picture...

Worst fish&chips I’ve ever had. You are not eating fish or chips but frying oil. Plus the staff is extemely unkind to the customers. Felt like they are racist when talking to the customers. I was unaware of it being a general issue until I came to write a review and saw other people complaining how rude the staff is.

I have also read the responses from the company side to the reviews and seems they are way away from accepting any problem and have been relating the bad experience to the customer stress. I strongly suggest the company to assess their attitude more carefully.

Hope someone in the management hear all these voices to correct the issue as it is a shame for the prestigious...

Food fine, overpriced but expected at an airport. However, the service was probably the rudest I've ever experienced in my life. The white/grey middle aged woman behind the counter is an embarrassment to your company - she clearly hates the job or people or both, and talked down and rudely to not just myself but multiple people in the queue as well, and very obviously laughed childishly with her colleagues when I asked a simple question. An absolute joke to be paying her to work for you when she talks to...
