Restaurant Müller — Restaurant in Schwangau

After visiting the area on Sunday, my friend and I sat at one of the tables outside the restaurant for lunch. There were 4 other tables besides us and the waitress said she would have a hard time keeping up because she was working alone. We ordered soup and a main course to share with my friend. Meanwhile, they opened the awning over us because it started to rain. Our beer and soups arrived quickly. However, we waited 45 minutes for our main course. Meanwhile, everyone who ordered with us left after eating their meals. The rain had already stopped but the awning was still open. There was us and a group who came later and had their drinks at the tables outside. The waitress called out loudly to them, "It's going to rain, you'd better go inside." This warning made sense because they were sitting on the outside of the open awning and would get wet. By the way, our food had just arrived at that moment. After five minutes we started eating main dish, suddenly the awning above us started to close and we couldn't understand what was happening. We were expecting it to stop somewhere in between but as the awning was completely closed, we started to get wet as well as our food, drinks and belongings. Meanwhile, the waitress came and said that she warned us that it would start raining and we should have gone inside. But this was a lie. She did not warn us that the awning we were sitting under would close, it was the other group. She even didn't look at our faces and avoid eye contact. The last straw that made us believe that she did this on purpose, smiling at us from the moment we sat down, starting to complain when she turned her back, bringing our food late and closing the awning without warning. She should have warned us before closing the awning and should have done it after we went in with our plates because she knew we were there. We didn't want to stay there any longer and wanted to pay the bill by leaving our food and drinks unfinished. She took the 55€ bill as 40€ as a compensation for herself, even though we didn't want her to do that. But it was impossible to talk with her since she never stops talking. No matter how delicious the food, I would never recommend you to go there as a tourist because of the treatment I received there. Dear waitress, if you read this comment, I can definitely say that you are the worst waitress I have ever seen in my life. I hope you will get the same treatment in any...

Ich war für einen Lehrgang nach München herangezogen. Da ich dies bereits Monate im Voraus wusste, überlegte ich mir zeitgerecht, welche Orte ich bei der Gelegenheit besuchen wollte, und besuchte mehrere Lokale und weitere Orte in und bei München. Dann fiel mir ein, dass Neuschwanstein doch gar nicht so weit weg ist! Das letzte Wochenende meiner Lehrgangszeit stand bevor, also jetzt oder nie!

Ich nahm mir am Sonntag des besagten letzten Wochenendes ein Carsharing-Auto und fuhr um 07:00 Uhr los. Es war ein toller Anblick, als die schneebedeckten Alpen auftauchten und ich schließlich das Schloss Neuschwanstein in der Ferne erkennen konnte. Um 09:00 Uhr kam ich in Hohenschwangau an; als ich auf einem gebührenpflichtigen Parkplatz die Parkgebühr zahlte, erhielt ich vom Parkwächter einen Gutschein, mit dem ich 10 %-Rabatt in diesem Hotelrestaurant bekommen konnte. Ich schaute mir zunächst den Wintersport in und bei Hohenschwangau an, bevor ich Schloss Neuschwanstein besichtigen wollte. Vor dem Fußmarsch hinauf zum Schloss, wollte ich mich jedoch mit einem Mittagessen stärken und ging selbstverständlich ins Restaurant Müller. Ich hatte mir die Speisekarte bereits online angesehen und mich auf den Cheeseburger (Brioche-Bun, 100 % Rind, Bergkäse, Tomate, Gurken, Burgersoße und Pommes) festgelegt. Als ich die gemütlichen Räumlichkeiten des Restaurants betrat, wurde ich von einer freundlichen Kellnerin in Empfang genommen; ich bestellte den Burger mit einer Cola zero, mein Getränk wurde zügig serviert, der Cheeseburger ließ auch nicht lange auf sich warten; zu den Pommes wurde je ein Schälchen Ketchup und Mayonnaise serviert. Der Burger schmeckte sehr gut und war zusammen mit den Pommes sättigend, aber nicht zu mächtig, um mich träge zu machen. Ich sollte abzüglich Rabatt 18,- € zahlen; ich zahlte per EC-Karte und gab meiner Kellnerin einen Euro Trinkgeld. Nach dem Essen ging ich den auf der gegenüber liegenden Straßenseite beginnenden Wanderweg zum Schloss Neuschwanstein hinauf und es war ein tolles Erlebnis!

We stopped here last week after coming down from Neuschwanstein Castle. Marin greeted us outside and I asked if the menu was the same on the patio and the dining room inside which it was. He was wonderful from the start and throughout our entire visit.

We sat outside on the patio and ordered a bottle of bubbles with the Salmon and the Filet. The meals were good, I can't say they were amazing but the service was 5 star! About halfway through the meal a massive storm started rolling in and Marin moved us inside just in time! We sat and watched the storm while finishing our drinks so we could walk back to our hotel.
