Food was terrible. Cheddar cheese sauce that tastes sour?? No black tea, only fruity or herb teas.

Was about to buy my daughter some souvenirs while my wife waited in line for castle tickets. Then the shopkeeper lady yells at me"NO PHOTOS!!" I yell back and show that I am texting my wife. She says something like oh, you have internet in here?? Internet is everywhere, dumb lady. Like I want some pictures of your tchotchkes?!! The next and last minute in the shop, she stared at my kids and I from behind a display. OK, bye, no sale for you.

This food stand was one of the few places in Schwangau that sells vegetarian food. Other restaurants and food stands offered it, but we’re either sold out, twice as expensive or at a fancier restaurant that will take twice as much time to get a seat, order and get your food. Our family of 4 had really tasty vegetarian hot dogs (like a garden burger cut to put in a hot dog bun), fries and beer and French fries and drinks for about 45€. After living in Germany back in the 80s, I got a taste of bratwurst years ago. Never could get that taste in the US, but at this little food stand, I had easily one of the best brats I have had in 30+ years.
