Bolero Schwerin — Restaurant in Schwerin

I am giving one star cuz I have to give to write this review! We came at like 19:10 in the resturant a nice lady welcomed us and gave us seats. The guy wearing black CK collar tshirt, was our waiter. He was so so impatient, gave us eye looks all the time when we took some time to order our food,he behaved very rudely all the time and was so very impolite from the start. We somehow managed and ordered at like 19:20. We thought our food will come within half an hour ,but we were so wrong. It took them more than 30 min to cook our food,it was so late that we were about to miss our train so we took away the food. On a Thursday eve at 1900 no resturant in any city would take so freaking long to make 2 burgers! They were normal burgers not any fancy gold plated food.

We seriously doubt that the waiter was racist ,as I am brown and I was the only brown person there. Around us there were people who order almost with us,they ordered steak and Wraps and all sorts of fancy stuff and they were even done with the food, but we kept waiting and seeing faces all the time.

It's a modern Era and this type of racist behavior should not be taken lightly by any...

I have actually visited Bolero a total of 3 times to eat. All 3 times have, unfortunately, been sub par.

The hard part of writing this is that the overall tastes on the plates are quite nice. Based on taste alone it's an easy 3 - 4 stars.

The problem is that fact that I have never had a fresh dish in the 3 times I have been there. From still frozen beans and corn to cold beef all the way to over microwaved kidney beans (very annoying dried out powered kidney beans fresh from the microwave).

The service was great and was the only saving grace as well as being the only reason for 2 stars.

As a side note. If you are a HEAT lover as I am, bring your own sauces. Bolero is TexMex/Mexican in name only and spicy is not really on the menu.

If they could tweak the kitchen a bit they could easily hit 4 stars. If that were to happen I would be more than happy to eat there weekly. I friggin LOVE Mexican and they are the only option in Schwerin as...

Kellner war agressiv und wurde ausfallend

Mein Mann und ich waren am 7 . März gegen 22.30 Uhr im Bolero Schwerin und freuten uns auf einen schönen Abend . Leider sollte dem nicht so sein. Bereits am Eingang standen wir herum , denn man sollte laut eines Schildes dort warten bis einem ein Tisch zugewiesen werden sollte, was nicht geschah. Also setzen wir uns einfach irgendwo hin. Augenblicklich wies uns eine offensichtlich nicht nüchterne Kellnerin ohne Begrüßung darauf hin, dass der Bereich gesperrt würde und führte uns durch Armbewegungen leicht schwankend zu einem Tisch. Soweit so gut. Obwohl mehrere Kellner uns sahen und es auch Blickkontakt gab, wurden wir nicht bedient. Der Kellner der den Nachbarstisch abkassierte, sah uns an und unterhielt sich dann jedoch 10 min lang mit den vier Frauen am Tisch und scherzte und lachte mit Ihnen, ohne dass sie etwas bestellten , es ging offensichtlich um Privatgespräche. Es kommt noch besser, passt auf. Als mein Mann dann einen anderen Kellner heran winkte, einen jungen, kleineren dunkelhaarigen Mann, ihn begrüßte und höflich wissen wollte, ob wir bestellen könnten, schnippte dieser ohne ein Wort mit Daumen und Zeigefinger mehrmals in der Luft , um meinem Mann die "Anweisung" zu geben, seinen Fingern zu folgen, und zeigte wortlos auf den anderen, sich nett und entspannt mit den Damen unterhaltenden Kellner und drehte sich wortlos um und ließ uns sitzen. Wir waren über solch ein Verhalten sehr verwundert, mein Mann sprach den Kellner auf sein Verhalten an, worauf er meinen Mann anschrie, ja ,ich sage wirklich anschrie, "ja ja ja, ihr wollt bestellen, das hab ich verstanden, ich habe doch gesagt dass mein Kollege kommt. Ja , ist jetzt alles gut?' Postwendend erhoben wir uns und haben das Restaurant verlassen. Noch nie wurden wir in so einer ordinären Art und Weise behandelt. Was denkt er zu sein,dass die Stimme gegen andere erhebt? Was ist das für ein Zustand, du willst Essen gehen und wirst vom Kellner abgeschrien? Geht's noch? Er hatte offensichtlich einige Probleme. Mit so einem primitiven Verhalten wollen wir nichts zu tun haben, deshalb sind wir froh, kein Geld in diesem Laden...
