Kabana Bar — Restaurant in Schwerin

This restaurant has terrible service. Not only did they forget our order, they forgot they had talked to us altogether. Several waiters came back to ask us if we had ordered yet, one of which was the very waiter that took our order in the first place when we arrived. After about an hour our food arrived. Without any surprise the quality left a lot to desire, my friend ordered his rumpsteak as medium rare but came out as well done. The meat was dry as a rock and the chef hid the fact that it was burned by drowning it in pepper. To go with the steak three pieces of rösti came in straight from the freezer making the whole dish feel like a school kitchen nightmare. To the kitchen chef: if you ever serve garlic bread together with a steak, let the steak rest first because otherwise the juice from the steak will make the bread turn soggier than fried mushrooms. A nice looking place and friendly service. We ordered two Big cola's and according to the menucard that would be 0,75 l. each but we only got two 0,4 l. because "the things at the card was misplaced when making the card". We didn't pay overprice but It was a very hot day so we have really looked forward to our Big cola's. We both ordered burgers with fries: One classic burger and one Bacon burger. We got the food quick. The burgers was big, the bread the usual from a store and the patties a little too dence/pressed for our taste, nice and fresh salat and the bacon was nice and crisp. The fries was jumbofries, nice and crisp but they lacked salt. The Best thing was that in the burgers there was "Danish remoulade"... Oh What at Joy! But it would have been even better if we had got a nice big dollop of it, to dunk our fries in 😋👍🏻 All and all an okay dining expierience. Not...

Grauenvoll. Die Stühle sind viel zu tief und haben zu hohe Armlehnen. Man sitzt dort wie ein Affe und kann nicht richtig essen. Die Musik war so laut, dass man sich kaum unterhalten konnte, ohne sich anschreien zu müssen. Selbst die Kellner haben uns kaum verstanden. Nach mehrfachem Nachfragen bei verschiedenen Kellnern, ob die Musik nicht leiser gemacht werden könne, hieß es nur: „Musik kann leider nicht leiser gemacht werden.“ So schwer ist es doch auch nicht, die Musik leise zu stellen!

Essen: Die Fingerfood-Platte für 10 € bestand nur aus TK-Produkten wie Pommes, Nuggets, Curly Fries und zwei Mozzarella-Sticks. Keine Empfehlung! Das Essen war so schlecht, dass wir nie wiederkommen werden.

Der Chili-Cheeseburger schmeckte nur nach Fleisch, ohne Käsesauce oder Chili. Es war kein bisschen scharf und sehr geschmacklos. Beim Chicken-Burger war das Fleisch so dick wie ein Bleistift, und die Sauce war ohne Geschmack.

Das Steak mit Ofenkartoffel schmeckte, als hätte man das Fleisch im Wasser gekocht. Es hatte überhaupt keinen Fleischgeschmack, sondern schmeckte nur nach Wasser. Die Ofenkartoffel war ebenfalls nicht besonders aromatisch.

Bezahlung: Bei der Bezahlung setzte sich der Kellner einfach neben uns auf einen Stuhl, holte eine Lampe vom Nachbartisch und rechnete uns mit einem Taschenrechner vor, was wir jeweils bezahlen mussten. So etwas haben wir noch nie gesehen!

Die Cocktails, sowohl mit als auch ohne Alkohol, waren aber sehr gut.
