Pizzeria Fornelli — Restaurant in Trier

It was a very enjoyable experience. I particularly liked the fact that they decorated our table after I told them on our email exchange for the reservation that it was an anniversary dinner for me and my partner. Another point because I also mentioned it's out first time trying lobster, which they brought to us cut in half for our convenience. The pasta was indeed homemade and delicious, the oysters and shrimps were very fresh. To sun up everything in the pictures was delicious and freshly made except the grilled chicken fillet which seemed a bit plain comparing to everything else. They were really attentive, very kind and professional. As a suggestion to the restaurant I would recommend placing more paper towels on the tables, especially for those ordering sea food. We will definitely choose this place again so we can try more things...

Spot on! Being totally disorganised and feckless vegetarians, we turned up, unplanned, without reservation and dressed for a bit of country rambling. No problem, we were ushered in without the disdain, rifled down long noses, which is typical of lesser establishments (all to frequently). The restaurant is on the first floor, above the street, is light and airy, and comfortable - not too 'cheek by jowl'. We had a salad, a veggy pizza and desert, followed by coffee. Each was excellent, tasty, fresh, well-prepared and presented. Italian desert, for me, is very difficult - when my eyes eventually focus on the menu, only the words "tiramisu" coalesce. However banal sounding, this was very nice, well-presented and, although I feel it could have used a little more massala, it was one of the better ones...

The food was very good. All the pastas but especially the pizza with the greek feta and mushrooms was delicious and of good quality! We were very pleased by the young waitress' helpfulness and politeness. She was also speaking english very well which was proved important for us as we didn't speak any german and she was making us feel comfortable as she was serving us with a big smile. We are very satisfied with our visit to this restaurant, the atmosphere was good, and perhaps a place to quietly enjoy your meal (as outdoors there was very much noise). Generally, very satisfied both by the meals and the service. Keep on...
