Dray’s — Restaurant in Ulm

What a shame it took me so long! I’d been hearing about this burger spot for over a year but never made it out to their original location in Söflingen. Now that they’ve opened right next to Ulmer Münster, there were no more excuses and wow, was it worth the wait.

The burger was outstanding. Even after a double cheeseburger, you don’t get that heavy, sluggish feeling it just tasted fresh and full of flavor. The sweet potato fries were spot on, and the coleslaw? Absolutely to die for.

I’ll 100% be coming back.

If I had one small critique, it would be the staff vibe. They could loosen up a bit felt a bit too stiff, almost like the old Marktbar crew. Would’ve loved a bit more of that laid-back, cool burger energy.

I don't normally eat burgers but i've eaten there twice this month because of their gluten free bread & its delicious! The beef was too well cooked tho & could be a little rosier to make it juicier. The 2nd time, they remembered i remarked that the spicy burger wasn't spicy & they adjusted it for me! Great service! Their sweet potato fries were perfect & they also had delicious cornbread...but no chilli or anything to dip it in unfortunately. They also didn't have wifi so i wouldn't come here to work or study in the weekday afternoons when they're empty & its a pity cause there's so much light in there. They should also update their billboard outside to actually advertise what...

So glad Drays opened up in the center of the city as well! A „new“ place in the city that will conquer hearts in minutes. Amazing Burger, Fantastic Ribs, Veggie options too and the absolute best sweet potato fries I’ve ever tried. They do come with a dip that blew my mind with every bite. And the coleslaw actually tastes like coleslaw. All in all such a lovely place and nice sitting indoors as well. Wednesday and Saturday are special days for pancake...
