We enjoyed a leisurely brunch at Mery’s Café & Kitchen in Ulm, a place that feels like a warm embrace on a quiet morning. The menu offered a thoughtful mix: I had muesli with fresh fruit and creamy yogurt, while my companions tried the avocado with sunny side up eggs and a Turkish-style egg dish served with gently simmered tomatoes — each plate prepared with care and full of flavour.
The cappuccino was a true highlight — rich, smooth, and lovingly poured. Their Turkish tea, served in the traditional glass, brought a taste of Istanbul right to our table. And the baklava — if that’s what it was — golden, flaky, and just sweet enough, was a delightful finish.
The bagel was very good, with an excellent chew and crust. The overall quality of the food and presentation was consistently high.
The atmosphere? Calm and inviting, with charming décor that encourages you to linger. The service runs at a relaxed pace — not rushed, not inattentive — which suited the setting beautifully.
