KULINARI Restaurant & Café — Restaurant in Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Überlingen

Not going back!starting with food:very boring taste!the dish placement is not esthetically satisfying at all!!the menu is not kids friendly.my daughter started crying because there was no food for her to eat(( now,to the service:the lady who served us,I guess she is the owner speaks no English,hardly understands German mixed with italian.it was very hard to communicate ..in the end we couldn’t pay with credit card,she said something shady about not having the credit card machine, and the check was written by pen on the paper and only the number,so there was no way to know if we were charged correctly or over charged ! and the most disgusting thing happened the moment we were leaving!!!she made an ugly comment about my kids and the way they ate!!!.i don’t speak german so i was confused if a understand correctly,but unfortunately i did..very disappointed about going to this restaurant and very disgusted with the whole experience!also their dog walks freely around the restaurant and barks suddenly which is somehow not very cool...

I am a Sri Lankan living in Germany. I just came with my sister, she is from USA. There was a old lady, she was frown at us very beginning. And she was not polite. I showed my Covid certificate she scanned it and it worked. But my sister‘s not. Because she is having different barcode (not EU system) as Covid certificate. But in her American app below the QR code it is clearly visible that she was three times vaccinated. And also we tried to show the vaccination book of her and even and she was telling it is not valid and only the QR code is valid. So she refused to serve us. She was having attitude. We just came to experience some Sri Lankan cuisines which we missed long time. This mad old lady ruined it. We were so desperate. I think the owner of the restaurant should be a nice Sri Lankan and because of this crazy lady he loses...

Been there with a group of friends on a rather cold and low business day. I guess we have been even one of the very few on the streets and in the restaurant our group was larger in amount of guests than the remaining customers that night. Anyway, to make it short the food served looked quite tasty and presentable. I took a big way off the pizza gang as I did not understand why a Sri Lankan Style restaurant offers Italian dishes..... German - I do understand as the restaurant is located in Germany. I have chose a "Zwiebelrostbraten" which is a Rumpsteak with gravy and onions. Perfectly done. Wines and drinks served were also fair. Just the service was - let me say a bit sleeping.... nevertheless, it was a great evening and we tend to come back... just guys , dont mix too much the...
