Kortheuer Karl H. — Restaurant in Wiesbaden

This is my favorite German restaurant in Wiesbaden! After spotting it while wandering around during my first couple of weeks in Wiesbaden due to it's historic exterior and steamed up windows, I've been several times – the atmosphere and the food are always amazing. It is very refreshing to be able to experience down to earth people and great (affordable) food instead of the overpriced hipster vibe that is so prevalent now. Get here early if you want to be allowed to sit at the bar to eat (or, I believe large parties can make reservations)....

Wow very nice and cozy restaurant and bar. I looked for somewhere a little less formal and less stuffy than the fancy restaurant on the main street. Staff was very welcoming and had a good chat. A small and welcoming local restaurant. The service was very friendly and we were able to get a seat at the bar area without a reservation. Seats are very limited so if you have your heart set on eating here I would definitely recommend reserving a table. Schnitzel was delicious. We cannot wait to return....
