I walk in, order a coffee, take my cup and go sit down, and the waiter rudely tells me that I cannot take a place (cafe is empty), because I ordered coffee to go and not to sit down. Apparently there is a sign somewhere stating it, but 1) I wasn’t asked if I want it to go, otherwise I would have told them no, as I wanted to be seated 2) I offered to pay the price difference or order something else to sit down, and was rejected. Extremely rude staff, “No and please go away, and if you understand, why are you still here?” Someone said that the seating area and the to go area are two different businesses, but they are in the same space, with no indication, and in any case why be so shockingly rude? He mentioned something about the sign, but no sign here indicates that people who order coffee at the bar will be kicked out, and those selling you coffee at the bar definitely don’t warn you or ask whether you want it in or out.
