If you're in the center of Wiesbaden and looking for a typical German restaurant, this spot could be worth a visit, but manage your expectations. The food is average—not bad, but nothing special either. However, the location is great, especially if you can grab a seat on the terrace outside. It's perfect for relaxing with a beer and soaking in the atmosphere. Inside, in the Keller, the vibe isn't as appealing, and it's not a place you'd feel the need to return to frequently. For a casual experience or to try some German dishes once, it works.

Superb example of Bavarian food. Outside of the Alps this is now my favorite spot to grab “comfort food.” The menu is amble without being to much. The atmosphere is beautiful and plays into the “Ratskeller” motif. It is located under a church and draws theme and inspiration from it. The have Helles on draft, a wonderful beer from south of Munich and many more. The restaurant is frequented by tourists and Americans from the local military base. Lunch is quiet, supper is busy and louder.

Good was good or bad. Very average. The reason this place gets two stars is solely because if the staff. The man serving our table was one of the worse staff I’ve had here in Germany. The other people at my table received prompt service. However, I guess I wasn’t a priority. The lady was amazing. She was attentive and helped so much. We were not a hard table. And we’re not drinking any alcohol. It’s disappointing, considering how many places here in Wiesbaden I go and have been with coworkers.

Andechs in Wiesbaden!! Centrally located in the heart of Wiesbaden, this place is a must!! We visited the Monastery outside of München a few months back and now catch the train over to Wiesbaden from Mainz every few weeks to get our Andechs fix! The bier is fantastic, some of the best in the world! Also the food menu is great, serving what you would expect from a classic bierhall! The outdoor seating on the square is perfect Spring through Fall! I love it here and know you will too!

We just sat outside since it was such a nice day to enjoy a drink and a pretzel. The service was fine, beer was cold. Nice view of the large Church next door. All the tables were full, definitely a pleasant place to stop for a cool one. I'm sure the inside restaurant is good, but we moved on. Would recommend this spot and hope to have dinner there the next time I'm in town. I did look inside the restaurant and it was very spacious and clean.
