Ich war zum 2. Mal dort. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist sehr urig. Draußen sitzt man sehr schön, innen ebenso. Also sehr enttäuschend für knapp 20€.

Actually the food is good, the waiters are really friendly: they are fast, skeep asking if we are happy with our food, make our toddler comfortable. But I cannot say that I will go to that place again. I will not recommend this place to my friends and family.

Right at the end of our dinner we wanted to change the diaper of our toddler (1,5 years old). One employee lady came screaming at my husband thdiaper desk is for 8 kg kids only (6-7 months babies). But where should other kids get changed? Luckily our waiter was helpful (thanks again!) and found us a place on the stairs. But seriously it is better not to have a diaper desk than having for 8kg limit. Also the tone of that lady just ruined our wish to come again. We came so happy and loved it until that incident. Going to a restaurant should be a pleasure. We are a family with our kid, we want to enjoy food and feel that our kid is...

Went there today, with my kids and this place has amazing location in Wiesbaden City and the atmosphere there was amazing. Feels like traveling in time, like a Viking.

Long story short, the experience for my kids was good, they had schnitzel and was good. I ordered the staple dish, called the vikinger platter, or something like that.

My food order was taken wrong and my meats were overcooked. That really messed up our experience.

The service at the end (an older lady, black hair) was very discouraging and disrespectful. She was blaming the bad order on me. ???

The restaurant had only 4 tables, we were the first and still took a little under an hour to get the...

I'm not sure what makes certain dishes 'viking style' (especially the fajitas!) but came here on recommendation and it was well with it! The food was good (though it wasn't spectacular); we had the Viking-style mixed grill and a schnitzel together with local beer. All very pleasant. Service was incredibly good with attentive servers (front of house staff happily switching between languages) and there is an English-language menu should your German (like mine) falter. In the summer there is a large outdoor seating area (where we sat) but inside looked cosy, too. Booking is preferable, I'd say, but they do try to squeeze you in. The toilets were clean.

A beautifully cozy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Dark wood beam centered around whats made to look like fire hearth. Nice looking upstairs. The place was comfortably busy but they seemed to be able to seat everyone who came in. I tried the schnitzel "holstein" - viennese style with fried egg and friend onions. While I like pork schnitzel better this was quite lovely. The fried potatoes were good and the salad was a nice surprise (came a few seconds after the meal and not too heavy on the dressing). The food did not come out as fast as some places, but the atmosphere and beer was pleasant enough that I did not mind the wait.

Right in the center of Wiesbaden sitting outside under the shade of big umbrellas or in the quaint interior this restaurant is a must for lovers of good fare.. I had the onion rings as a starter which where fresh onions and not a paste as is commonly known...they were cooked in a lovely light batter..this was followed by a very good steak although the side orders were a bit on the skimpy side... I wanted a desert but unfortunately they are not strong on desserts! Value for money was reasonable the service on our evening was attentive and helpful ...wheelchair access is available outside.
