Cafe-Bar Noir — Restaurant in Accra

I booked a private dinner for a work event and made a down payment - but the room was not ready for the time we had booked for. Nothing was set up and it looked like they had just finished another event. They were only able to set up for us 40 minutes after and the food package was only fully ready and set up well past over one hour.

I also won’t recommend this place on a weekend if you want to have a private gathering and quality conversations. They had a main event in the outdoor space, which was quite loud, and did not think to mention that when I made the reservation.

The Manager I met also dismissed my complaints and made it look like I was overreacting - despite the fact that I had guests already waiting and the room was not set up. Even after asking what they were going to do to compensate for the poor service, he kept evading me and eventually left the restaurant without addressing the issue. It was only after I told the waiting staff assigned to me that I wasn’t going to pay the balance that they agreed to give a 5% discount.

One of the most terrible service. Terrible customer service, I would never recommend . I sent a WhatsApp message it took forever for them to get back , so I managed to call and someone picked up so I made my order . Right after I had made my order I got a reply , let me make it brief , I asked a harmless question that how long will my breakfast I take , I got a reply , which to me it was rude “ i don’t know what you are ordering how will I know the duration” meanwhile i said breakfast so even if I don’t know what I want , what stops you from running me through your breakfast menu to let me know maybe this breakfast take this X minutes. The annoying thing , I was told Breakfast can be anything on their menu ..Like seriously, and added I should learn to accept my mistakes. I and partner had a cool date there. Their services are good, food delicious, cocktails on point, argghhh😍😍😍. Try their jollof and wings. Omg. Delicious. Prices are slightly high. Budget ghc150-ghc200 for food and cocktail for a person. My partner and I spent 315 together.Environment is also perfect for pictures. On sundays there’s brunch buffet. Ghc200 per head.
