Chocolate Sarayi – Where Sweet Dreams Come True (and Lasagna Gets a Second Chance)
I recently went on a date to Chocolate Sarayi, and let me tell you, if you’re a dessert lover, prepare yourself for a sugar rush like no other. My date ordered this ridiculously fun-looking chocolate Oreo pancake that came drizzled with more chocolate syrup than should be legal. It looked like something Willy Wonka would dream up on a good day, and it tasted just as heavenly as it appeared – pure chocolate bliss on a plate!
Now, as adventurous as I was feeling, I decided to try lasagna for the first time (yes, at a dessert spot – don’t judge). It smelled fantastic, but as soon as I took a bite, I realized lasagna might not be my true love. Meanwhile, my date – who was absolutely vibing with her meal – swapped plates with me, and boom, she fell head over heels for the lasagna. So, win-win!
To drink, my date had the most amazing lemon juice – ice cold, super fresh, and so sour it felt like a citrus wake-up call. No sugar needed! It was the perfect palate cleanser after all those rich flavors. Meanwhile, I was sipping on raspberry iced tea, which leaned on the sweeter side. Not a complaint, though – it was like a hug in a glass.
The service at Chocolate Sarayi? Chef’s kiss. They were attentive, friendly, and clearly serious about making sure every customer leaves with a smile (and probably a sugar high). The atmosphere was lovely, with different seating options and a warm, cozy vibe that made the place feel like a dessert paradise.
The price? Around 400 cedis for everything, which is definitely on the pricier side. But when you break it down to 200 cedis per person for a date night, it doesn’t seem so bad for the quality, the service, and the sheer amount of chocolate joy.
If you’re looking to treat yourself (or share a lasagna with your date), I highly recommend Chocolate Sarayi. You won’t regret it – unless, of course, you steal your...
Read moreWorst experience! I feel all the reviews before must be from friends.
I went there this morning to kill time before a meeting I had. I went to sit UPSTAIRS in the far corner. After placing my order I could hear the owner SCREAMING disrespectfully at staff at the top of his lungs. Completely unprofessional!
I felt disrespected as a guest because you Mr Malik couldn’t be bothered who was in your establishment which to me shows you don’t give a hoot about guests spending their money at your place.
The way younger belittled your team in front of everyone was not only disrespectful but straight out RACIST!
Is this how you would behave in Turkey? If you wanted to open a business to shout at staff maybe you are in the wrong industry habibi.
No amount of stress of frustration as a owner gives you the right to disrespect guest or staff! Apparently this isn’t how he behaves. I’ve recorded your belittling screaming match but won’t post it. Adapt to the country you are in but don’t disrespect...
Read moreLocated at the former planet kebab spot and very easy to spot. They have seating areas both outside and inside. Visited them after having a meal elsewhere so I got there pretty much full. We got the strawberry and cookies (or so) milkshakes and a crepe with fruits. The milkshakes were okay. Definitely tasted better. The whipped cream was not fluffy. It was quite ‘solid’. We couldn’t even give it a swirl with our straws. So it just sat on top of the drinks. The crepe was okay too. Ended up eating the fruits more than the crepe. Everything comes out looking really sweet. So I’ll recommend for those with a super sweet tooth. Service was pretty much okay especially as the place was packed.
I’ve tried new items from their menu since my first(above) review and I pretty much liked them. Again, I have a sweet tooth but not for these desserts lol. I’d still recommend. Current favorite is the pistachio one. Check...
