Olive Garden Feinkost — Restaurant in Accra

I just left this place and had the worst experience ever!!! Me and my friend ordered pasta, bruschetta and salad as I’m eating my salad I’m chewing and there was a piece of tissue or napkins in my salad. I spit out what was in my mouth and told our server and he came and took the extra dish I spit the tissue in and I told him that I wasn’t going to finish the salad I was queasy about it. When he got back to our table he said the manage/owner apologised. We asked to speak to the manager several times and then they offered a discount. I told them that that was unacceptable the husband finally came over and apologised again and offered to take the salad off as they should have from the beginning. As we were getting ready to pay for the rest of our food the wife/manager came over and snatched the receipt off our table and accused me of eating all the salad and that the bowl came back to the kitchen empty as if we were trying to get over on them. We left a tip for the waiter. This place came highly recommended by a friend and it was our first and last time there. I will NEVER step foot in this place again!!! I love love love love this place. I actually went for an inspiring session so maybe I'm being just a teeny bit bias but in all honesty this place is beautiful. I went there in the afternoon, the session began around 1pm. There's the outdoor area with Woden couches and glass tables and then there's a restaurant type setting indoors, then a quasi conference room. We had our meeting here and the ambience is just relaxing. There's a sound system where you can regulate the songs and the volume. We ordered for drinks before we commenced. I took the beetroot juice and I felt the most healthy that day😌, it was cool and nice. It cooled my insides prepping me for the day ahead😂. I met so many wonderful ladies. Before we left, we helped ourselves to a buffet and goodness gracious, there were so many to choose from and they were all goood. I probably would have enjoyed the food if the service wasn’t awful.. Walked in with my friend seat ourselves… waited about 10mins for a waiter to show up. And nothing so my friend gets up to find one… finds one takes our orders… Baked salmon and red snapper fillet with plain rice both dishes where 5/10.

So we order sparkling water and it comes FLAT! Like a flat Tyre in the middle of nowhere! Now the waiter Evans says” oh it’s because there’s ice and lemon in the glass”. I’m just sitting there staring at him like you must be joking ! Asked him to call his supervisor or manager and this guy with the worst attitude as if he’s the one paying for the meal. Takes forever to come back with lies and more attitude… Claiming there’s no supervisor and his manager is busy !!

This is the second time I’ve been at this restaurant, ordered sparkling water and been served with flat sparkling water… what’s disturbing is the the staff identified sparkling water...
