I wanted to love this place, but the main reason I went there wasn't as good as I hoped. That reason was the Asian food. I got upon noodles, and while the building my own noodle box option was awesome, adding all the different options for each part of the dish, the main and most important part being the noodles was bad. My noodles were completely overcooked to mush, so that part was disappointing. The only saving things for me and why I didn't rate it lower is the flavor of the sauces and all the ingredients, especially the Paneer cheese, the friendly staff, decent wait times, and decent prices, as well as the Molten Shrimp Balls. The atmosphere was neat with cool art, but small. The tables were a bit sticky, maybe just from the lacker on the table though because it was fairly clean otherwise, and the wooden benches and chairs weren't comfortable seating for me at all, but that's typical in Ghana. The AC was a huge plus though. Overall, it could have been a superior experience for Asian cuisine in Ghana, but they need to learn how to cook noodles perfectly, they shouldn't be too hard or too soft, you can't just make noodles any way you want, especially when it comes to Asian food since its the main point of the dish. If they fix that, they'll have a definite competing restaurant for Asian...
Read moreSo fast forward to my visiting again in Sept 2023. This time l bought 2 chicken ramen as take out to try. It was horrible. Soup base was salty and had no flavour. Chicken was overcooked so was tough, mushroom looked like it was from a can. There was also zucchini/ squash which was over overcooked and bland. The noodles were mushy and in pieces. Worse ramen l have ever had. I tried to add things to it to make it taste better but ........ Ended up throwing it away. Won't be buying the Ramen again. Will stick to either Udon or Soba noodles.
OLD REVIEW To many waiting staff who are sluggish and do not attend to you unless you call them. Second time visiting to eat in and a staff was sleeping and three others just outside doing nothing. Usually buy through Bolt...
Read moreI stay in the area twice a year and know the best spots for great street food. I have yet to find a quality, affordable takeaway/restaurant! This was my exoerience: 1) the photos are not remotely accurate - eg. four "shrimp balls" not a stack as shown 2) back to those prawn balls some rave about, small, very greasy, and with that artificial flavour of ultra-processed cheap, frozen Chinese. Avoid! That perfect grilled Tipalia na Banku from round the corner is manna, and cheaper! 3) tofu ramen - aside from the four tiny bok choose leaves...just like those cheap beige chow meins from poor UK takeaways...and about the same...
