If I could give this no stars I would, we had a dreadful experience here last night, we arrived at 8 for dinner, the views are stunning and the staff were polite. The young waitress bought water glasses over (we were not given any water) and then disappeared for around 20 minutes she then came back and asked if we were ready to order and I said no as we haven’t been given menus yet ! She then bought us menus and about 30 seconds later came and asked us if we were ready so I said no we needed more time. She then came back a while later and took our order. My partner is severely gluten intolerant and he ordered the meatballs with pumpkin, I asked the waitress if it was GF and she said she would check with the kitchen and let us know. She never let us know !
I ordered a tuna steak and we ordered some white wine which was luke warm when it turned up.
We then waited 1 hr and 36 minutes for our meal to turn up, there were 4 or 5 other occupied tables there so not hugely busy. Another couple who turned up 1/2 an hour after us got their meal long before ours came out.
I called the waitress over after a while and asked if our meal was coming she apologised for the delay and said it was because she had fallen down the stairs a few days ago and had hurt herself, so the chef kept coming out to see her and see if she was ok, we commiserated with her over the fall and she assured us our meal would soon be out. My partner’s meal then turned up and she put it on the table and said here are your zucchini balls, I immediately said this is not what he ordered and that he ordered meatballs and she said oh that’s a mistake on the menu we don’t do meatballs, I asked if his meal was GF and she assured me it was. I then waited another 10 minutes for my meal to come out, my partner had finished his by the time mine came. My meal was just awful the tuna steak was so over salted that I could not eat it, I had three small bits of carrot, one slice of zucchini a tiny bit of cauliflower and some greens, all of the veg was stone cold and had obviously just been taken out of the fridge, she explained it as a cold vegetable salad. I am a trained chef and the tuna was very obviously frozen and then over salted so it was inedible. I called her over again as asked for the bill and told her that I would not be paying for the meals as I hardly touched mine and my partner did not get what he ordered, they bought the bill with the meals taken off so I paid the remainder and then they asked if we wanted a free pudding to which we said no thanks we just need our change.
She bought the change and we left, as we got back to our hotel my partner was doubled over in pain and spent a very uncomfortable night with many trips to the toilet, his meal was clearly not GF despite them saying it was. Please beware if you have allergy’s ! As they don’t seem to care ! When we got back to the room I looked at the amended bill to see that we had been charged for the water which we never had ! The restaurant is in a stunning setting but that’s all I can say that’s positive really. There are many lovely restaurants in Patitiri and them being away from the town a little bit should make them up their game.
Please avoid horrible food and no thought to people with allergy’s.
Terrible experience and we will...

The location is stunning, with a large terrace and a beautiful sea view. Unfortunately, everything else was a major disappointment: • Service: Extremely slow and disorganized. We waited for over an hour for dishes, and the bill also took a long time to arrive. • Food: Salty, greasy, sometimes tough (chewy octopus), and several menu items were not even available. • Price: We were four people and paid €180 (about €45 per person) for a meal that was simply not worth it. • Family-friendliness: Very poor. Long waiting times make it stressful and impractical for families with kids.
In the end, we paid a premium price for bad food and poor service – very disappointing and not recommended.
The Response to your Response:
Thank you for this experience – unfortunately, a purely negative one.
I was willing to pay your very high prices, and therefore expected an exceptional culinary and service experience. Instead, the evening was disappointing in every respect: • The long-prepared dishes (such as the pork knuckle) were inedible, extremely oversalted, and still served after an unusually long wait. • Service was weak – despite the restaurant being almost empty, I had to search for the staff. • Your response to my feedback sadly interprets it as unwillingness to pay, rather than constructive criticism.
So I can only thank you for the realization that this was an exceptionally poor evening – both in food and service. I truly hope you will one day take such feedback as an...
Read moreStarting with the positives, the view from the restaurant was lovely, the pub itself has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff (waitress) was very nice and friendly. However, everything started to break down from the moment the starters and dishes were served. The buns served at the start were hard and the dips served to them were very salty (even not to eat). The main dishes were served at large intervals, so when my whole table ate its dishes, I just picked up mine. The main dishes themselves were inadequate for the price (which was indeed very high). Some dishes were cold and I dare say that the fries and chicken were fried in old oil. Some dishes were either tasteless or poorly prepared (as an example, an octopus that was hard) I also pay attention to the waiting time which was extremely long considering that there were no crowds in...
