The hotel has renovated, clean and comfortable rooms. It is in a convenient location in the town centre overlooking the waterfront, a few minutes' walk to shops and eating places. It lies on a walking trail marked by painted red and white stripes. (https://www.alonnisosatyourfeet.gr has the route maps.) Tap water can be boiled for drinking and has a pleasant taste. The Wi-fi network is good. I had a spacious room with a terrace facing the sea and pine trees. If you are sensitive to noise, I would suggest choosing an inner, courtyard-facing room. Read moreI didn’t book beforehand, just arrived at the port and called the hotel, within 2 minutes the lovely owner, Lucie was there to collect me. Just a 3 minute walk from the port, some steps, but not steep. Very Greek, basic room with a breathtaking view overlooking the port. Very clean, good running hot water in the shower, comfortable bed and pillows. Fridge, kettle and coffee, tea available in the room. Not many people around but I can imagine it to be a little loud normally, in the evenings because of bikes etc. pool was not open due to COVID and lack of visitors. For those looking for luxury, this is not for you. Those looking for comfort, friendliness and typical Greece, don’t look any further 😊good air...

The family room was large, comfortable, well appointed and decorated, the view over the harbour with it's boats, bars and restaurants is amazing. You can take your breakfast from the back courtyard and eat it on your balcony watching the port come to life below you. Lucy the owner is lovely and can cheerfully answer any question you have about the island.||My one improvement would be some sort of protection (awning or curtain) on the balcony from the evening sun, which in August is still fierce until it drops below the...
