Hi, I hope this is going to help someone to decide in which resturaunt they are going to spend some good time.

Usualy I'm not doing this, but... Waiting time for ordered meals was 1 hour ???

Biftek stake - Even if you choose the medium or medium rare, it is going to be medium well/well done. Also, we all know what is Biftek steak - I got half of T-bone (shouldn't complain about it someone would say, but I really wanted Biftek). What lime as a side dish is doing on the plate with the stake? I was suprised, but we used it for the below meal :)

Fish as a fish usualy comes with the bones, but if we are talking about the Salmon stake - bones shouldn't be there (a lot of bones). Side dish with the fish was literaly just cooked without salt, maybe butter? maybe a bit of wine, or something to have some taste and not having a feeling that you eat a grass!

The waiter was so cool, tried to make us happy with some jokes and "break the ice". One of the best that I saw between these resturaunts, he was so good with all guests :)) For the "flor" (waiters) it is 5 stars, for the kitchen and the prices...

Mai più! Arriviamo e troviamo un po' di attesa.. Beh, ci può stare la settimana di ferragosto alle 21.00! La cosa ci fa ben sperare, altri locali vicini hanno tavoli vuoti. L'attesa è breve e dopo 10 minuti gentilmente ci fanno accomodare ad un buon tavolo. STOP, queste le uniche cose degne di questo locale.. Poi, piano piano, un crescendo di delusioni personali. La sensazione è subito quella di essere visto come carte di credito ambulanti. Ordiniamo varie portate e appena arrivate già la presentazione non era delle migliori... Fa nulla, "l'abito non fa il monaco" ci diciamo, Al primo assaggio ci iniziamo a guardare in faccia tra commensali, quasi a interrogarci tra di noi... "a me non piace, e a te?"... ma magari abbiamo solo cattivo gusto, oppure abbiamo ordinato un piatto sbagliato... Si procede così all'assaggio di gruppo di tutti i piatti. Le sensazioni erano per tutti le stesse. Sia i piatti di carne che quelli di pesce non erano di gradimento a nessuno di noi. Guardandoci intorno veniamo sempre più colpiti dal fatto che alcuni tavoli sono praticamente avanti all'ingresso del locale, sull'uscio! La sensazione è sempre la stessa, quella che lavorino sui numeri è non sulla qualità e sull'attenzione verso il cliente... Ma questa era la nostra sensazione. La sensazione si rinforza quando le richieste successive, di bevande o condimenti, tardano ad arrivare o addirittura vengono dimenticate. Il dibattito tra di noi si accende su come possa essere possibile che questo locale sia così gettonato. Ci diamo una risposta... Forse errata, ma crediamo che sia frutto di un buon lavoro di marketing e di social. I gestori sono molto amichevoli e gentili e questo è bello ed aiuta tanto. Abbiamo notato anche alcuni tavoli con clienti "affezionati", mangiare le stesse nostre portate ed essere soddisfatti.. ma io vengo in Grecia ionica da 14 anni e non ho mai mangiato così male e soprattutto non mi sono mai sentito un bancomat ambulante come mi è successo stavolta. Volutamente non descrivo cosa, per me è per gli altri commensali, non andava nei piatti, Andate e provate di persona, la mia è una opinione personale di una esperienza personale. Poi.. A patto di aver già mangiato in qualche taverna di Cefalonia, fate i dovuti paragoni e poi, se volete, mi darete torto con un'altra bellissima recensione che colleziona...

First and foremost, the service was great.

We walked past on Sunday lunchtime and it was packed with locals, always a good sign.

It was much quieter when we went back in the evening so we went in and were warmly welcomed.

The food was good but we possibly didn’t order correctly. My wife had oven cooked lamb with potatoes - the lamb was beautiful, so soft and crumbled on the fork. I had the Kefalonian Meat Pie - it was ok (I like my pies) but not overwhelming. What we definitely should have done was to order some greens / veg as sides.

There was a steady stream of people in and a nice vibe about the place. I wouldn’t not go back but would definitely order differently.

All in all though, good service and great...
