We came for our last evening meal while staying in Lassi. Had read the reviews and was really looking forward to it. However we were massively disappointed. We were welcomed and shown to a lovely table and things sarted ok. I had mussels sagnaki and my husband ordered the village sausage. These were both served quickly and were both enjoyable. Our main course was the seafood mezze to share. It was well presented but tasted horrible. The calamari was tough and chewy like rubber with a sour taste. The mussels were burts and tasted hard. The shrimp not fresh, and the sardines were passable. We did ask them to remove it and complained about the food. Sadly our concerns fell on deaf ears. My husband got a lecture about how lo g they have been there and never serve bad food! We weren't the only ones either. A couple at the side of us also complained about the calamari and returned their main course untouched. They also said the wine was like vinegar and didn't drink it. We had diet coke so can't comment on that. We paid for our drinks and starters and had the main course discounted. All in all, the restaurant looks beautiful but the service and food was bad. I...
Read moreShort and simple review - it was very bad bad. the location and atmosphere is amazing the staff were nice , the sardines were the best part of our meal….., we were served complimentary bread with butter and tomato water ( which we were then charged for at the end) after our starter we waited roughly 30 minutes for our mains to be delivered which upon arrival didn’t look amazing we ordered the sea bass and the fried prawns the sea bass well cooked but completely unseasoned , the boiled spinach and raw union slice were also completely unseasoned not even a pinch of salt or pepper and for the fried shrimp we were given 5 shrimp 2 cherry tomatoes and a baked potato (no butter as plain as it gets for a potato) and everything was entirely unseasoned with the shrimp being tough and not de veined. In short would not recommend and for over 60 euros was quite...

It amazes me that this places has survived since 1986 with the food they serve. As a tourist restaurant though I suppose they don’t really need to care about repeat customers.
The Kefalonia meat pie had clearly been made several days previously and was just being reheated in the microwave, thus ensuring it was a moisture free zone.
My partner has the seafood pasta - in reality it was pasta with 4 pieces of seafood.
They clearly don’t care as at no ping did anyone ask us how our meal was, instead our abandoned plates were whisked away and ‘free’ desserts were slammed down in their place.
When I refused to pay for the stale bread that had been ditched on the end of the table by a waiter they did remove it and offered a 10% reduction in the bill when I made it unclear how unhappy I was.
This might have been the highlight.
