Had a pretty awful and awkward experience.

Ordered steak, requested it be cooked blue/rare. The first steak that arrived was cooked medium and full of fat. Since it wasn't the cut of beef we were expecting and it hadn't been cooked how we requested, we sent it back and asked for the menu to choose something else. We didn't get the menu, instead they decided to send us another steak that was equally disgusting (full of fat and sinew) and very chewy. Also, the potatoes served with the chicken were clearly from a can, just heated up and not fresh (you can clearly taste the brine soaked flavour of a canned potato)

The chef came out to see us, to enquire about our food. She stank of freshly smoked cigarettes 🤢 We received no apology about the food, just a lecture about why they were right and we were wrong. Hardly great service.

Asked for the bill, only to find that we had been charged for food that we didn't order (bread) and also the full price for the steak. Again, no apology.

Also we didn't appreciate being watched by the waitress the entire time we were there. Disappointing, will not be eating here again!

If you read my review and actually understand it, you would realise I mentioned the potatoes (not the rest of the vegetables) are clearly from a can. As for your reply to my review, you have not once even thought about apologising toward a paying customer...not once. Your attitude towards customers is atrocious. New entry in town, just a week since the opening we visited this magnificent restaurant for an August dinner with a group of 6 friends.

The place is very well decorated and arranged, the location also is perfect, just a minute walk from the hassle of the main square. It has a beautiful garden yard where you can feel the fresco and it’s warm atmosphere in the same time.

We were impressed of the kindness and welcoming staff who made a great impression as soon as we walked in. The tables are comfortable and large for big groups as ourselves. The menu has a large variety of options for all needs, from Mediterranean/Greek dishes, to vegetarians and Keto options, which was a nice surprise.

We had a mixed vegetables salad, the chicken started, the mushrooms, keto shrimp plate, the salmon with the black rice, and there large veal Stake which was top notch! We loved every single plate especially the veal. Our meal was accompanied by a nice white wine. Everything was delicious and hearty.

We also shared 3 of their desserts, the lemon pie, the cheesecake and ice cream pergamont and we were thrilled about the extraordinary flavors, can’t choose which one was best!

This is the best restaurant I’ve eaten in yet in Kefalonia. And that’s a big deal since I have found most food on Kefalonia to be mediocre, despite the enthusiastic reviews on Google Maps.

We had dinner here yesterday, which was their opening night. The atmosphere was lovely and very elegant, away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. There were nice little touches everywhere: the water glasses were nice, the silverware was heavy, the plates were heavy and high quality and the table light centerpiece was a nice and gold plated. The service was friendly and welcoming and the owner of the restaurant walked around himself and welcomed people.

We both had the beef steaks, a liter of the house red wine and a serving of the bread with butter. The steaks were huge and filling. We asked for medium rare and they were more rare than medium rare. Still delicious and huge. The house red wine was on the sweeter side.

A delightful surprise was the butter that came with the bread. It had a tangy slightly sweet taste, maybe from sweet red peppers? Not sure, but highly recommend! The bread itself could be improved and be more airy and light.

Overall, the food and atmosphere were great and I recommend this place to anyone who wants to have an elegant dinner...
