Epik Gelato — Restaurant in Athens

I am really disappointed that i have to write this review for this store because I really like their ice cream and the people who work there.

At the same time though some of their policies have no sense. That is why I am giving them one star. Not for their ice cream, neither for their friendly staff.

The owner really need to look after the customization of the menu. It is just ice cream people🍦

📣Here is the story:

I wanted one of the ice cream cocktail cups that they have on the menu and I asked them to get that but to get it with different ice cream flavour.

They told me that is not possible because this is how the chef suggest it. Then the girl suggested to me to get an ice cream of my choice with toppings. Then I turned back to her and I said I want the ice cream of my choice with all the toppings of the one cocktail cup that I liked in the menu.

She said to me that she cannot add fegentine (one of the ingredients of the cocktail ice cream) though. I asked for the reason since I am willing to pay for it as much as they want. She said they cannot do it since there is no way to price it!!!!

I am honestly shocked of the non flexibility on their menu, we are just talking about ice cream people! Keep customers happy otherwise they will turn their back to you. Don’t forget you open the store for the customers. So listen to their needs. They pay you for things you have on the menu, just give it to them! We didn’t ask you for the moon and the stars….

Of course I am not blaming the lady who served me but the silly policies that the owners set!

Epik Gelato is delivering some of the best gelato I’ve had in the city. Εχει χαθει τελείως η εννοια της εξυπηρέτησης. Πραγματικα καλη ποιοτητα παγωτου. Αλλα οχι αρκετη για να καλυψει την τρομερα αντιεπαγγελματικη αντιμετώπιση, καθως αν καποιος θελει να παρει (απο το efood τουλαχιστον) τρεις γευσεις παγωτου οταν παραγγέλνει 1 κιλο παγωτο, αυτο είναι πραγματικά ανέφικτο! Είσαι ΥΠΟΧΡΕΩΜΕΝΟΣ να παρεις γευσεις σε κλασματα των 250γρμ. Με πηρε τηλέφωνο δύο φορές το efood το οποιο ηταν διατεθημένο να πληρωσει την διαφορα (κάποιων λεπτών του ευρω) ΑΛΛΑ ΚΑΙ ΠΑΛΙ, Ο υπεύθυνος του καταστήματος δεν ήταν διατεθημένος να εξυπηρετήσει. Πραγματικά λυπάμαι γιατί έχετε πολύ καλό παγωτό. Αλλά υπάρχουν και αλλά καλά καταστήματα τα οποία θα παραθέσω εδώ με σκοπό να ενημερωθούν και οι άλλοι άνθρωποι που παρατηρώ πως δεν είναι ευχαριστημένοι με την απαράδεκτη εξυπηρέτηση σας. Και όλα αυτά πληρώνοντας λίγο παραπάνω από 30€/kg (αλλά θέλετε να εκμεταλλευτείτε παραπάνω ποσοστιαία τα 333-250= 83γρ παγωτού που το χρεώνετε ούτως ή άλλως 2€ έξτρα). Λοιπόν τρομερό παγωτό έχουν και τα:

Και είμαι σίγουρος πως θα υπάρχουν και άλλα που δεν έχω δοκιμάσει. Συγχαρητήρια για το παγωτό σας. Δεν θα ξαναπάρω

Για να εξηγήσω αναλυτικότερα. Ήθελα 3 γεύσεις στο κιλό του παγωτού δηλαδή 333 περίπου γραμμάρια από την κάθε γεύση. Επειδή λοιπόν σε χρεώνουν έξτρα 2€ και 1,5€ για τις 2 από τις τρεις γεύσεις που είχα παραγγείλει επέλεξα και μια τέταρτη (υποχρεωμένος) χωρίς έξτρα χρέωση και ζήτησα στα σχόλια αν γίνεται να μου βάλουν 1/3 από την κάθε γεύση. Μετά από πολλές συζητήσεις με το efood, (το οποίο προτάθηκε να πληρώσει την κλασματική διαφορά των λεπτών του ευρώ) ο υπεύθυνος του καταστήματος αρνήθηκε να μας εξυπηρετήσει.
