KNACK&SNACK — Restaurant in Athens

A bit of a strange location, far from the city center, we went far because of recommendations on Instagram. In fact, we found ourselves sitting on a balcony above a gas station, a waitress who was not attentive and did not treat us kindly. The pizza - nice dough, no cheese, just tomato paste and toppings. A poor menu with 5 types of pizza. We were not enthusiastic at all. Very mediocre. And now adds after the owner's response: We didn't order a vegan pizza for the simple reason that it had pork on it. The waitress may be the owner but she didn't look away throughout the meal as we tried incessantly to get plates and cutlery that weren't served to us throughout our stay at the restaurant. And as for writing an honest review, I'm just a tourist. In the limited number of times I have when visiting another country, I would like to know that a 5 upgrade like your friends gave you would be honest and authentic and I wouldn't waste my resources on a mediocre restaurant. By the way, the owner recommended a "very good" wine which was also mediocre. So apparently everything is relative in terms of what is good, tasty and rated 5 on Google. In any case, good luck. I stumbled upon Knack & Snack in Athens and instantly fell in love with the place. The vibe is effortlessly cool — a mix of cozy, artsy, and welcoming — and the staff make you feel like a friend rather than just another customer.

The food? Absolutely outstanding. The pizza is on another level — creative toppings, perfect crust, and flavors that make you want to linger over every bite. Pair that with their selection of drinks and a warm atmosphere, and you’ve got the perfect spot to unwind, laugh, and enjoy the night.

The only reason I wouldn’t recommend this place is purely selfish: if it gets too popular, I’m afraid I won’t always be able to find a table!

Probably the best and coolest pizza place we have ever been to. Great hosts with so much passion for their traits - paintings, and amazingly tasty pizza’s. Try the mushroom pizza with truffles!! It’s absolutely exquisite - we can still taste it. The dessert pizza was also amazing. The young couple that runs the place are so passionate and friendly that you want to come back.
