Honestly this is NOT a 5 star hotel experience. 5-star hotels are all about small details and in here they are all missing. From the check-in, where they went to "check if our room was ready, so they sent us to the restaurant where we could not order or have anything because it all needed to be done through an app that we were not given access to. We arrive to the room and as the host explain us how everything is used by using your phone (Yes you go to a vacation to be looking at your phone everytime you need to turn off the light or open the curtains), he shows us they have a projector and menmtiones that is was not included on our rate, right after that he shows us where the controlers are to use it...We went with a group of friends (5 rooms), and none of us understood whether we had to pay extra or not for the projector to be used. We ended up using it and did not get charged for it, but the quality of the image was TERRIBLE, and the foldable screen that comes down to be projected at was much smaller than the image, no streaming app was working properly and you could not stream from your phone or computer since all the rooms have the same streaming name, so you have to click one by one on the list of 12 options until you finally find the one from your room. Great concept but a terrible experience. just get a normal TV. Arriving at the room, the curtains, lights, and the door lock are all accessible from the terrible app, a complete and useless thing; nothing ever worked as it should. If you get there and you are out of battery, good luck getting anything done, since the receptions, which is supposedly 24h, had nobody there every single time we needed something. ONe of the days we tryed ordering room service, used the app for it, that connected us to Whatsapp to the reception (I'm guessing cause nobody ever replied), after waiting for 20min, I ended up having to go all the way to the restaurant on my robe and place the order there and ask to be delivered at the room. On another evening, we only had 1 bottle of water in the room, I asked for another one and only got a reply 2 hours later...I left the room and looked for someone everywhere, only to go back empty-handed.
The staff is super kind, but you can find them at night. The towels are placed outside of the bathroom, which makes no sense, so when you take your first shower, you are wondering where they are. I loved the natural soaps and solid shampoo etc...the only problem is that there is nowhere to put them in the shower space. T
The bathroom curtain was also poorly taken care of, you could see staple marks on where it was fixed.
This is NOT WORTH THE PRICE I'm absolutely sure you can get a much better experience and many other...
Read moreI recently stayed at Not Hotel in Athens, and we were blown away by the experience. Every single detail of the hotel felt so authentic, giving it a unique charm that you don't find often.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always there with a warm smile and ready to assist with anything we needed. Their hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable.
Our suite was absolutely wonderful – cozy, elegant, and just perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Athens. We had a balcony that overlooked the pool, providing a serene and picturesque view that we loved. The authenticity of the hotel is evident in every aspect: the stone and wood used throughout, the well-thought-out amenities, the structure of the buildings, the charming windows, the stylish refrigerators, and the comfortable beds. It's not an ordinary hotel; it's something special. During our stay, we and other guests we didn’t know felt like one big family, which added a warm and welcoming touch to the experience.
The food at Not Hotel was another highlight. Every meal was a delightful journey through authentic local flavors, making our stay even more memorable.
Additionally, the hotel is located in a safe area and is within walking distance (15 minutes) of many key attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring the city.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who appreciates an authentic...
Read moreBeautiful hotel just outside of central Athens.
It’s a sanctuary in itself.
We chose this hotel for one night in Athens after travelling around Greece, before we flew back home.
The location is further out of the city, compared to other places we stayed. However, it’s about a 35 mins walk or 10 mins in a taxi.
The hotel is in a beautiful setting. The design, the landscaping, the interiors are so thought out.
The room in the lighting wasn’t to bright at night (not the best in the bathroom to do make up!) and everything is controlled by an app. A few things didn’t work for us via the app but you can do some things manually (ie. Lights).
The breakfast selection wasn’t the biggest and service was very slow. At the start there were only a few tables but as it got busier it got even slower, dishes missed. To be honest the staff just seemed slightly overwhelmed and too busy.
The outside was lovely, the pool was beautiful (although VERY cold!). There are only 4 sun loungers and the pool did quite busy, with no many places to sit, especially in the sun. The staff should have been more attentive and proactive to check on everyone around the pools.
Overall I would recommend you to stay, it’s simply stunning. Especially if you want some quiet and relaxing dome in the city. The hotel is...
