If you find yourself in the vibrant neighborhood of Exarcheia, make sure to stop by Miss Neapolis Restaurant, a small and friendly eatery nestled next to Ippokratous Street. This place offers a delightful dining experience with its tasty dishes and welcoming atmosphere. To start our meal, we tried pumpkin soup which was not only delicious but also plentiful enough for two people. In addition, we couldn't resist ordering the pasta with vegetables and the bao buns. Both dishes exceeded our expectations in terms of taste and presentation. The service provided by the lady who served us was polite and friendly. It enhanced our dining experience and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. The prices at Miss Neapolis Restaurant are also reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the portion sizes. We ve paid around 40 euros for our food and a couple of beers.

While the restaurant is located on a busy street, the noise level did not interfere with our enjoyment of the meal. In fact, it added a lively atmosphere to the overall dining experience.

Miss Neapolis is the kind of place Bourdain would have championed without hesitation—unassuming, soulful, and unapologetically rooted in place. It’s the quiet confidence that gets you first: simple ingredients treated with reverence, executed with a precision that never veers into pretension. This is modern Greek hospitality at its best—warm, clean, and generous—served with a wink and a glass of something cold.

I brought my future fiancée, a chef, which means the stakes were high. Every bite has to tell a story, earn its place. Here, I saw her smile in that way only great food can coax out of someone who lives and breathes it. I’d like to think I won her stomach that day—and anyone who’s loved someone in the industry knows that’s where it all begins.

Cozy little nook with generous portions, great service and fair pricing. I did find it a bit odd that in addition to various pasta dishes and salads there were baos on the menu and churros for dessert. I guess you could say there was something for everyone.

I enjoyed some wine and the gnocchi. I did appreciate the dish, in fact I ate the entire plate however, it didn’t knock me off my socks to the point where I was yearning to go back for it. I do feel I might be a tough critic as I’m from Toronto and we have some of the best Italian pasta joints outside of Italy ☺️

I will say though, as a Greek Canadian they’ve been the only place I’ve eaten pasta in the country where it’s actually cooked “al dente” keep that in mind when you eat pasta in Greece; they tend to cook their pasta and gnocchi thoroughly. Hehe 😉
