My wife and I donated an abandoned Ficus Tree that has since grown uit to a full size Tree. The whole thing, the park, activities, both for kids and for grown-ups, is maintained with passion by the inhabitants of the neighbourhood. A unique place, Exarchia Athens

An amazing alternative park which was planned to be a parking but during the revolt is 2008 was occupied and turned into a small park, desperately needed in the heart of Athens. NOT a clean park. Not suitable for children OR ADULTS (unless you are an Airbnb tourist looking to get drunk , high or take photos of "graffiti"). Should be turned over to the City really - the place needs proper...
