Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience at this location.

I ordered fries with bacon and cheese, which I thought would be something like a poutine. It turned out to be just fries with decently cooked bacon on top with the cheese on the side. (Which they had forgotten and was cold.) The fries were also very cold and not fresh. It tasted like it had been there a while. I had a few and didn't like it at all, so I essentially just ate the bacon.

There is no indoor seating and limited outside space. If you can get fresh food, I suppose it would be ok for a quick bite and go. The portion size was also unexpectedly big. (To me, I expected half of what it was.)

It's fast food, so it's a hit or a miss depending on the time of day and whether it's busy or not. I wouldn't go out of my way to frequent the establishment, but I wouldn't say not to go either. It would not be on my recommendations list based on my one-time experience.

All that being said, the staff were friendly and did apologize for forgetting the cheese, which was appreciated.

Hopefully, your experience will be more enjoyable than mine was should you...

If you know what the square is and you still want to go, this is the place for you. In truth it’s usually dirty and sparsely occupied. It is the home to a couple good cafes, non-discreet drug dealers, the homeless, very occasional trash can fires, and anarchist rallies. It is typically covered in a patchwork of posters, and it is common to see large banners by anarchists hanging between light posts and trees. Some of the most real and coolest parts of the city happen right here at the heart. Exarchia is a very unique neighborhood with a seriously alternative vibe that probably won’t survive much longer in the city center. They are proposing a metro station in the square. If you’re here, I recommend seeing it before it sinks too far into tourism and major development. And if you are a tourist, just try not to...

They destroyed everything. It used to be an important place for the political gatherings, an anarchist token and historical symbole, especially when you are a militant like I am. I was so excited to see it, but the greek gouvernement destroyed everything. They cut out the trees and put huge steel walls all around it. They are now building a metro station. Don't fool yourself, it is a political choice, a facist move to silence anarchists and...

Ahh the smells of sweet sweet gentrification. The square is shut down for the metro build, surrounded with barbed wire and bored looking riot police. The area here mixes some edgy feeling back streets with anti tourists grafiti, along side craft beer and hipster wine bars. Plenty of local twenty-sometimes are hanging out here so gentrification can't be all bad!
