We had a quick stop at Pink Flamingo for a snack before continuing our walk around Plaka. We ordered the Udon noodles dish with prawns, coconut cream, lime lemongrass and the vegan Bao bun (tempeh). The cashier was friendly and informed us when the food was ready. It took some time to get our food so we decided to stay and eat it there. The food was objectively bad. The udon noodle dish had an unpleasant sour and bitter taste. The prawns were inedible (they tasted spoilt), the sauce was sour and there was a permeating bitter aftertaste through every bite. A reduced coconut cream sauce should be sweet with hints of sourness (from the lime and lemongrass) to cut through the richness and give it a pleasant taste. Instead, the sourness of the dish had a yogurt type sourness when milk goes bad. The tempeh bao buns disintegrated after a bite. There was no structural integrity to the buns. The filling (tempeh) was bitter and unseasoned. We could not finish the food even though we hate food waste. We returned the unfinished meal to the staff and gave them feedback. They mentioned that all seafood is cooked fresh every morning and it couldn't have been bad, however the taste of the prawns and the rest of the food was horrible. I would recommend some quality control to the food before it goes out to...
Read moreBlonde waitress was super rude, and unprofessional and we decided to get up and leave without eating. Specifically: We went there at exactly 12, as the google opening hours of the store were 12-12. When we got there the waitress told us with a bad tone "we open at 12.30". Went back at exactly 12.30, and she was sitting outside. We sat, and when she saw us she got up and shouted to the guys inside "Guys, are we open or not yet?" . She did it in a way so that we could hear this. She could have easily gone inside and asked without the clients (us) hearing this. Lastly, she sat on the stand where people order, and we asked her whether they are open and she used the same bad tone to tell us "you should come here at the stand to order". How were we supposed to know? She could have politely told us.

Read moreIt wasnt love at first sight!! In front of the entrance there are 2 small tables with 2 stool in each. Staff was welcoming and because it was our first time, they told us that there is an upper floor room where we can sit. To get there you pass through a narrow hallway and you go upstairs through a twisted stair and you find a very small but nicely decorated room with tables and stools. You order and pay in the entrance and you can wait to take your tray or they bring you the tray upstairs.. Now THE love.. Amazing bao buns!! Also the dim sums! The best we had in Athens, at the moment! We tried everything!! Even kids ate bao buns!Very good prices for what we ate!!4,5euros for the chicken and 6,5euros for the duck bao bun and nice size!WE LoVed it!! Staff very helpful!! Going back...
