I’m really glad I chose Pan Hotel.
At first, I only booked for one night. But due to a sudden change in my schedule, I needed to extend my stay for two more nights, and I made this request just few hours before my check-out. Unfortunately, my original room had already been booked by someone else because of high demand. But still, the front desk didn’t hesitate to help me. Instead of making me transfer to another floor or room, they made an extra effort to adjust things so I could stay in a similar place without any hassle. Their thoughtfulness and care for my comfort really moved me.
The room was clean and had all the basic amenities. It may not be as luxurious as top-notch hotel, but the warmth of their service made it feel like appealing to me.
I want to especially commend the kind lady in charge of the breakfast area. Every morning, she would ask me if I had eaten. I was on a strict fasting routine. Her consistent care was touching. On the day of my check-out, I finally decided to have breakfast, she welcomed me warmly, introduced me to the menu, brought me eggs, and even peeled and sliced fresh peach for me and prepared my warm tea. That level of personal attention is rare.
Pan Hotel is a quiet and peaceful oasis in the middle of busy Athens, they really offer authentic warm Greek hospitality.

Read moreThe hotel is in a good location your close to the main sights and town The staff are polite
The reason for 3 on service is cleaning some areas are clean well and sometimes there not the mirror I had in the bathroom had black marks on it and the lady who cleaned the room left the bag of rubbish on the desk (I think she just forgot to pick it up after she finished) the walls could do with some painting as there was black marks on them
The reason for 3 stars on room the room is average it was a good side for a solo traveller the only things I didn't like was the bathroom mirror had black marks and the bedroom wasn't soundproof I could hear everything from the top floor downstairs , the lifts and the room next to me and the view wasn't great I was looking at a ac vent and wall which made me keep the curtains close most of the time as I didn't want to look at the wall also when reading what's included in the room there was only coffee stashes there was no tea bags there or milk yet stated tea and coffee facilities
Overall I did enjoy my stay but hopefully in future the rooms would be more soundproof so you don't hear the lifts and the people around the top and bottom floors and the rooms next door and there be teabags in the room with the...
Read moreThis was a nice, clean, modern hotel, however this is the sort of hotel you would stay in for only one or two nights max (thats all you really need in Athens anyway). Service was great, however they did mix up our keycards when we got there but was sorted. The lift is super slow and really small, can barely get two people let alone luggage in their and feels unsafe. Had a room on the 4th floor (404), the view was a brick wall but didn't have any outside noise which was good. It was a clean, modern room, with a safe and mini fridge and tv, beds were really comfy. Bathroom however was a bit of a disappointment, was aged and smelt when we arrived which wasn't pleasant. Breakfast was typical continental, not much choice but was enough to keep you going. Location was great, about 2 minutes from Syntagma Square and 5 minutes from Monastiraki and 10 minutes from Acropolis, great central location. Overall, for the price you pay, it was great value for money, but still has room for...
