The hotel was in very good condition – clean, tidy, and well-maintained. It was located in a nice and safe neighborhood, close to both the Acropolis and the bazaar, and we felt perfectly comfortable walking around the area, even at night. The air conditioning worked flawlessly and could be easily adjusted to suit our needs. The aircondition had a good airflow, circulating the air evenly throughout the room rather than blowing in just one spot. Housekeeping came every day to clean the room and make the bed, and we received fresh towels almost daily. The room had a refrigerator that we could stock with water, soft drinks, or anything else we wanted. It did make some noise at night, but that was easily solved with a pair of earplugs. One minor drawback was the bathroom. The toilet had a frosted glass door, and there was also a frosted glass window between the bathroom and the bedroom. This meant that you could hear everything and see silhouettes from inside. For this reason, we wouldn’t recommend this room layout to newly-in-love couples – or to anyone not entirely comfortable with each other.

Checked into this Hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. The reception at the desk is very friendly and nice. The room is small and we could not place and open our 2 big luggages except to place them on the bed when we need to open to get our clothes. Only managed to place our 2 cabins bags on the floor. We wanted to get some water and put in the mini fridge and checked that it was not working. So I called the reception and get someone to come to our room to check before we started unpacking. The guy who came into our room and checked. He told us that it was not working and I asked if we can change it to another room instead. He was so blunt and told us that all the rooms are the same situation where the mini fridge are not working. I am not happy with his behaviour. We are paying around A$258.08 per night and this is what we get from his service. The hotel should have their staff to talk to their guest in a well proper manner. Very disappointed and worst of all I am stuck with this Hotel for 3 nights and fully paid for it. Otherwise, I would check out and check into another Hotel.

This is a delightful hotel in the centre of Athens that was one of the best value-for-money stays we’ve ever had. It was within a 15 mins walk of all the major historical sights and the lively nightlife areas for dinner. The rooms and breakfast were fine, exactly as you’d expect from a 3 star. But be aware our bathroom wasn’t a completely sealed room, instead it was separated by a frosted shower glass pane with large gaps at the top and bottom. This meant any noise in made the bathroom could be heard clearly in the room. Not an issue for us but could be for others. The crowing jewel of this hotel is the rooftop bar which was genuinely a little slice of heaven. The team were a delight to interact with, very helpful and attentive despite the fact I can’t speak any Greek. Alexis in particular was wonderful and kept bringing me delicious little treats as I sat there most of the afternoon. My peaceful hours spent reading here in the glorious sunshine will not be forgotten anytime soon. Thank you.

Overall this was a good hotel in a central, tourist local in the heart of all the action, but quiet enough to retreat. I had some issues with my room and was provided a Superior twin room when requested a Superior double room, even though I emailed the hotel 3 times prior to avoid this at check in with no reply. It was found there was an issue with the third party provider booking engine and the information transferred to the hotel systems. The staff at the hotel reception were reluctant to assist at first over the phone, however once I went down and spoke with them, the female staff member (forgot her name) was more willing to help than the male I spoke with over the phone. They assisted with a room change for the next day, and accommodated an immediate room change for the twin room due to some noise issues. After this initial hiccup (it happens when travelling), it was a much better experience. The twin room with openable French doors with views of the Acropolis was smaller than the double room with balcony/terrance with city views, much preferred the second room, Superior Double with Balcony/Terrace. Bed was comfortable, lots of cupboard and storage space, and ample room in the bathroom. Elevators were good, however if you had to wait there was another small Euro style you could use, although it literally fits 2 people, or you and your luggage. Breakfast selection was wide and delicious, and rooftop bar very nice with amazing views of city and Acropolis. Location was fantastic, right in the heart of the tourist area, so many choices of restaurants, bars, shops, transport etc... smack bang in the middle between Syntagma Square and Monastiraki Square, very easy to walk everywhere and located on a quiet street to relax after a day of exploring, balcony/terrace was lovely to relax on with a Frappe and pastry after a long day. You are spoiled for choice with the amount of selection around you! Laundry place 2 doors down with express same day service at a great price. I would recommend this hotel as it was clean, good housekeeping, wifi, breakfast...

In my opinion the only thing going for this hotel is location. I have worked in the travel business for many yrs. Firstly don't book a courtyard room, You are literally 2 feet away from the rooms opposite. with a very dark room. I was only staying 3 nights so wasn't the end of the world. I did ring down to reception and enquired about this, and was informed that was what I had booked, I was more than happy to pay to upgrade however I was literally cut off before having time to explain to them that I wasn't happy with the bathroom in the room . I would like to add I didn't book the room, my work did. So honestly if you're thinking of going pay extra for the room. I went down to reception and had to show photos, the room was 211 for reference. we were then offered a different room 509, In this one the shower head was literally hanging off the wall, I couldn't be bothered to go back, as i wanted to start my day. |Reception staff, especially the guy with black rimmed glasses was very rude and abrupt when we were asking for guidance on transportation. Think that's been the least help I have ever been given in over 30 odd yrs in my job from reception staff. The girls on reception seemed nicer and more helpful in my opinion. There was a really lovely barman waiter at the roof top bar in the afternoon when we went up there. The breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about. However you cannot fault the location about 10 minutes walk to Acropolis & many other...

We would like to thank the hotel team for continuing to place their trust in HOMED’s medical services. It’s always an honor to support your guests with prompt and professional care.

Here’s what one of your recent guests shared with us:

“Dr. Papazisis was so helpful. I contacted the practice via internet during the evening. I was suffering from severe sciactica following a fall during my trip. An appointment was made for the doctor to see me at our hotel within12 hours of my initial contact. I was prescribed pain meds for the 11 hour trip home. There was no way I could have made it without assistance.

The doctor was so nice and friendly. And the office staff superb.

The first medication was not effective for me as I have a long history of back issues. I contacted the office again for more assistance. A better med was called in and now I am waiting to get home relatively comfortable.

The office was so kind and helpful. I can't give enough praise for this practice.

If you need a doctor while on vacation I highly recommend them. I received my invoice quickly for insurance submission too.

Thank you so much.”

Thank you once again for the excellent...
